I know it’s not technically Fall yet, and Orlando has let me know that with the 90 degree heat… But I started classes on Monday and for me school starting means fall is here! It has been tough making the transition to Florida from living in Western PA for the first 19 years of my life. While September is REALLY hot in both Florida and PA, Florida doesn’t typically cool down until December at the earliest. Meanwhile in PA as a kid I would trick or treat in my snowsuit…

Needless to say, it’s hard to embrace the cute fall fashion here in Florida, so I just have to make it work. I’ve recently found some great fall pieces that are appropriate for the current weather here in Central Florida. Today’s post is about the camo trend. I know, this trend is not for everyone. I was not on board with camo AT ALL until last year. I think since I was raised somewhere that there was a lot of hunting, fishing, and farming, camo wasn’t seen as a fashion statement. However, I do think it can be done the right way and look super cute for fall.

I’ll be posting once a week during this series and each week I’ll be covering a different Fall trend for 2019 and how you can wear it for less. I love a good splurge every once in a while, but I generally like to keep my clothes affordable. And while I typically do a more classic look with my clothes, I love to get into trends every once in a while. In fact, leopard is something I’ve seen over the past few years in classic and preppy brands like J.Crew and Barrington Gifts!
