Maria & Enzo’s Brunch Review – Italian Restaurant at Disney World’s Disney Springs

March 12, 2019 · In: Disney World, Travel

Hey y’all! Today I wanted to share another food review with y’all. During Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend we went to Maria & Enzo’s for the first time! We went for brunch on Sunday after the half marathon, and it did not disappoint.

Maria & Enzo’s is an Italian restaurant at Disney Springs located behind Planet Hollywood, on the water. Maria & Enzo’s is actually pretty big and offers a wide variety of dining experiences. They have their sit-down restaurant, which is where we dined, a walk-up pizza shop, and an underground bar.

Maria & Enzo’s offers a brunch buffet on Sundays that costs only $35 per adult and $17 for kids 9 & under. Cocktails are also available for an additional cost. But we both got soda, which was included. The brunch includes a wide variety of foods at different “stations.”

The biggest stretch of the buffet was the “real food.” They had a few different salads, a variety of breakfast foods, some meats, and some traditional Italian dishes. There was a charcuterie station of sorts that had different cheeses, crackers, and meats; a dessert table with tons of yummy options; and finally, a CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN accompanied by countless treats to dip. Fresh fruit, pretzels, brownies, marshmallows, you name it! There were so many items on the buffet it’s hard to list them all, so HERE is a link to the menu!

There was only one thing I tried that I wasn’t a fan of, and that was the french toast. There just was something not right about it. But perhaps I just got a bad batch. I was a HUGE fan of the bacon lol and the smoked salmon; they even had mini bagels to pair with it. It was also nice that they brought a basket of pastries to the table.

Since I ran that weekend they were offering 25% off of runner’s orders all weekend, which was awesome! But they’re offering an even better deal for Annual Passholders from now until May 31st, 40% off lunch starting at 11:30am each day. Not valid at brunch or dinner, but still an AMAZING deal! HERE is the link to the spot on the website that gives more details.

So over all I give this experience a 10/10! The price was right, even without the discount. The food was great and there was a wide variety of choices! Let me know if you have any specific questions down below or connecting with me on social media, @TheNorthernPrepster.

Thanks for reading!

xoxo

30 hours at the most festive place on earthšŸ°šŸŽ„

We booked this trip after my miscarriage so we could get out of town, even just for a night, and embrace ourselves in holiday magic✨ While nothing will take away the pain and heartache, distractions help the days pass fasteršŸ¤

Next week we’re off to NYC for a few days full of firsts!šŸš• Defintiely nervous but excited for this bucket list tripāœ…

Last week I was supposed to be graduating from the Last week I was supposed to be graduating from the fertility clinic I’ve been getting treatment at since January. Instead we were told our baby girl no longer had a heartbeat. Thanksgiving is supposed to be a time to be thankful, and this year that is extremely difficult.

For the rest of our lives we will question why this happened to us. We’ll wonder who she would’ve looked more like? What color would her eyes have been? Would she have loved the things we loved? I will yearn for you forever, baby girl. A piece of our hearts will always be with you, our first baby, now in heaven.

I’m sharing this not for pity or for attention, in fact I’ve felt very embarrassed to share. But I noticed after sharing my IVF journey a few months ago it opened a door for conversation. Conversations with people who have been through it, are going through it, or are curious about the process. These conversations are so important to break the stigma of fertility treatment regardless of your age or diagnosis. While I don’t share every detail of my journey, I’m choosing to share this to show it’s not always a straight and narrow path.

So if you’re reading this and resonate, my heart is with you. You are not alone. You did nothing wrong. If you’re reading this and know someone going through it - I urge you to reach out. Whether it’s to tell them you’re thinking of them, or whether you’re offering a helping hand. This experience is isolating, scary, and confusing. I promise you that if someone has shared their journey with you and you decide to stay silent, it hurts.
