With all of the excitement welcoming the newest ship to the Disney Cruise Line fleet – the Disney Wish – now more than ever I am itching to sail away! I have been on 11 Disney Cruises over the years, our most recent being last October, and I hope to set sail on another really soon.
But until then, I figured I’d share some tips with you all for cruising on Disney Cruise Line. Enjoy!
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that a few weeks ago my husband and I took our first trip to Nantucket. For years we have been wanting to go and see what all the fuss is about! I am not going to lie, I really wasn’t that impressed and I’m not sure if we’ll ever go back. But nonetheless, I am glad we tried something new.
Perhaps the disappointment came from the fact that we were expecting something completely different; many people have compared it to Palm Beach when speaking to us, and the two aren’t very similar. However, I still wanted to write a post to share our trip and share some of our favorite parts, as well as answer some FAQs.
Next week we are heading to Nantucket! I am so excited, yet nervous. Grant and I have never been to New England together – and I haven’t been since I was a toddler. Needless to say, I am very excited to be going somewhere that feels new to the both of us.
I am sure like many of you, the first thing I think of when I book a trip is, “what am I going to wear?” Nantucket is definitely an interesting destination since it is a bit cooler (despite it being a post-Memorial Day trip), so I definitely had to take that into consideration. Additionally, we’re only there for 3 nights, therefore I am making it my goal to ONLY PACK A CARRY-ON! I know, very hard to believe for a gal like me – but I am up for the challenge. So take a look at these little mood boards I made to help me with my packing for next week.
It has been a minute! I haven’t been so active here on my blog, which has made me so sad. Between my new job and travel, we have had a lot going on! But fear not, I have some fun Disney blog posts coming up. And I’ll be sharing about our upcoming trips to Nantucket and Palm Beach.
But today, I wanted to share with you a review of Mears Connect from our recent Walt Disney World trip. It was our first time using the service, and I know people have a lot of questions about it. So let’s get into it!
