What shoes you wear are crucial for a good Disney trip! Footwear can truly make or break your vacation when you’re walking probably 20,000 steps per day. I’ve been going to Disney World a long time and was a local for a few years. That being said, I now know what shoes work best for the parks – especially if you want minimal pain and blisters. Today I want to share my list of the best shoes for Disney World.
Before I start with the list let me share one important tip that has helped me. It’s so important to pack more than one pair of park shoes. Even if it’s just two you can alternate between. I’ve found this to help a ton for blistering especially since our feet don’t sit the same way in every pair of shoes. This way you’ll have less rubbing in the same spots over and over again.
Also stay tuned until the end for a list of other essentials to help your feet if needed!

Brooks Ghost 16
Let’s start out with the obvious – a good running shoe! I’ve worn Brooks Ghosts for a long time and have good luck with them in the parks. While this honestly isn’t my *favorite* park shoe – it’s definitely a reliable choice you probably already own something similar to.
Lacoste Ortholite Sneaker
THESE are my favorite park shoe. I’ve gone through two pairs of these over the past 5 years or so and I need to get a fresh pair. I love that they aren’t clunky and they go with everything. Also it having a more basic shape allows your foot to move more, making it less likely to blister. The trick is also the Ortholite insole. Any shoe brand with that label inside is a WIN!

REEF Sandals
We’re gonna mix it up and throw in a pair of sandals! Yes, sandals! I grabbed a pair of these on clearance last summer at a beach shop and didn’t think too much about them. Until I realized these were the COMFIEST sandals I’ve ever worn in my life. I featured the exact pair I have which are also waterproof, which I love. They’re super easy to clean and practical for park, pool, and unexpected Florida rain.
Target Memory Foam Sneaker
This probably sounds so random but these are one of my favorite park shoes! I have two different colors because I love them so much. Target has sold these for a few years and is constantly getting new color combos. They’re so comfortable and since they’re a bit lifted they’re very flattering as well.

Vejas
This is a newer shoe for me but after my recent trip I can confidently say they’re park approved! While they aren’t the most comfortable on this list, I didn’t get any blisters while wearing them which is a win. So if you already have these in your closet – they get my stamp of approval. I wore Tretorns for a long time, which remind me of Vejas but those DO NOT work well in the parks!
I also wanted to share some products I recommend either having on hand or purchasing if necessary. These products will save your feet if you get discomfort – or prevent it altogether
KT Tape Blister Prevention // Dr. Scholls Blister Cushions // Flexible Fabric Band-Aids // Healthy Feet Cream // Epsom Salt Travel Packs // All in Motion Cushioned Socks
