I’ve been in the “Disney spirit” lately since we are leaving for Walt Disney World TOMORROW! Plus, y’all have been requesting more Disney content, so I’m giving the people what they want. I occasionally write posts similar to this, showing my current favorites, for Lilly Pulitzer. Today I thought I’d do something similar for Disney – and I might start making it a bi-monthly thing, and perhaps even start Lilly posts again. Let me know your thoughts, and enjoy!
DISCLAIMER: THIS POST IS IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM MEANT TO BASH THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY, DISNEY FAIRYTALE WEDDINGS, OR DISCOUNT THE SERIOUSNESS OF COVID-19. THIS IS PURELY AN OUTLET FOR ME TO SHARE WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH RIGHT NOW AND SHARE MY STORY.
Today’s blog post has definitely not been easy to write. And the topic I am covering is definitely still fresh and new, so please bear with me. If you follow me on Instagram you may have already heard, and if you are a close friend or family member and just finding out via this blog post, I am sorry.
There is no question 2020 has been chaotic, and the last few months have brought numerous challenges for me in my personal life. But last week we reached the cherry on top of the cake that is 2020 – we made the decision to cancel our Disney wedding.
Today I have another review for you all! ICYMI, I reviewed Pretty Little Monogram’s Mystery Mailer last month, but I also got many requests to review Bibbidi Box. If you have not heard of it, Bibbidi Box is a small business that specializes in fandom mystery boxes. They have various sizes of boxes at many price points, as well as different themes such as Disney, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Marvel.
Additionally, they have a boutique where you can purchase items as well as special themed boxes that are released in limited supply. Needless to say, there is something for everyone!
Today I wanted to share something fun I got in the mail this past week, as well as share my unbiased thoughts with you! As y’all probably know, I am a huge Disney fan and a Lilly lover, so many years ago I discovered Pretty Little Monograms. If you have never heard of them, they are a great small business specializing in all things Disney and preppy. They sell so many unique items for women, men, and kids – and they are always rotating their designs so there is something for everyone.
A while ago they started selling PLMystery Mailers, and I have definitely been curious. They come out with a different mailer each month, each of a different theme. It is NOT a subscription, which gives you the flexibility to just buy one or get one each month.
So let us dive into September’s PLMystery Mailer!
P.S. I didn’t want to spoil too much in my cover pic – so the shirt I am rocking is from Caloosa WaterWear – use code JAYME20 for a discount!
Running any sort of race takes a toll on your body, whether you’ve trained or not. Not to mention runDisney events often have us running races multiple days in a row, which can make things even more painful at times. Needless to say it is crucial to take care of and listen to your body when you’re putting it through events it is not used to. Waking up at 3am, running multiple miles in a climate you may not be used to, and then potentially going to a park afterwards… We’re all clearly crazy lol.
But today I’m going to share with you some ways I recover from Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend!
