Hey y’all! I always get questions about what products I’m currently loving. I’ve been asked many times to do “monthly favorites” posts. But honestly, I’m not a person that tries new things a lot. When I find a product I love I tend to stick with it. So I figured I would meet y’all in the middle and start to do a monthly favorites post every 3 months or so. So these favorites are things I’ve been loving from January until now. I’ll be sure to include links to products in case y’all wanna purchase them yourself.
Let’s get into it!
This is something I actually got as a gift! Grant got this for me for Valentine’s Day (I totally asked for it). I was skeptical about it, and I don’t normally buy things like this for myself… But y’all I am obsessed! I have super oily hair and it gets greasy very quickly. I typically let it air dry because if I use a hair dryer it tends to get greasy faster, and I normally only wash my hair 1-2 times a week (thanks dry shampoo). After using this only once I fell in love with it. It doesn’t make my hair greasy at all, and my hair stays cleaner longer. Plus it adds a ton of volume and makes your hair silky and soft (it looks like you just got a blow out)! Also, ladies with curly hair: this may work for you! I’ve seen multiple YouTubers with naturally curly hair use this and it straightens their hair like a dream.
I know I’m real late on the train for this one lol. But I recently downloaded the desktop version of Spotify, which is free! I do school online and obviously I’m always on my laptop writing blogs for y’all. Needless to say I’ve been using it a ton. I’m not a person to listen to Top 40 so I love that I can make my own playlists without random music being added that I don’t want to hear. If you’re wondering, my playlists are mostly made up of the Mamma Mia soundtrack, Maroon 5, Michael Bublé, and Hootie & The Blowfish/Darius Rucker.
I think I’ve mentioned this in a few blog posts now, but this truly stepped up my organization game! I have so much jewelry and in my opinion earrings are the most difficult thing to organize. This completely changes that! I don’t really recommend it for dangly earrings, though they can sometimes be stored in here. I highly recommend it for studs!
This is a relatively new favorite since I just got this last week, but I love it! It makes my skin feel like a baby’s butt y’all. And after only a few days I’ve noticed my skin healing breakouts, being brighter, and overall looking more healthy. I would really like to look into getting some more Tula products.
Y’all may or may not know I got a camera for Christmas! It’s nothing super fancy, not a DSLR or anything crazy. But I’ve really been loving it. I literally use it every day and it helps me to make better content for y’all! If you are looking into starting a YouTube channel or need a smaller camera for personal/family/simple blogging purposes I highly recommend it. There are so many features on it I haven’t even learned to use yet.
Wicker & Bamboo Purses
I’m serious obsessed. I only have three right now, but every time I see one I’m close to caving. These were so in style last summer, and from what I’m seeing and reading they’re going to be making a long term comeback! I’ll link some affordable options HERE, HERE, and HERE.
Shows I’ve Been Loving
TV: Riverdale, The Masked Singer, Bob’s Burgers
Amazon Prime: Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Sex and the City, The Simple Life (yes the early 2000’s show starring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie)

Angel Eyes Mamma Mia 2 Soundtrack
Sunday Morning Maroon 5
Only Wanna Be With You Hootie & The Blowfish
9 to 5 Dolly Parton
I know this probably isn’t the longest favorite post you’ve seen. But like I said before, I’m not a person to change things up a lot. Once I find something I like I tend to stick with it. I want to know what your favorites have been lately! Whether it’s food, a show, a song, an article of clothing, or something else, share it down below! Make sure you follow me on Instagram, @TheNorthernPrepster, and on YouTube to keep up with my day-to-day life and more.
Thanks for reading!
xoxo
