Save Money On Your Next Disney World Trip with Lucky’s Market

May 21, 2019 · In: Travel

Hey y’all! Today I wanted to share with you my experience at Lucky’s Market and how they can help you save some money on your next Walt Disney World, Universal, or SeaWorld vacation! Lucky’s Market offers all natural and organic products at affordable prices in locations across the country. They even have a location just minutes away from Walt Disney World Resort, near the Orlando Vineland Outlets. Lucky’s has everything you may need on your vacation; Tylenol, sunscreen, baby products, fresh fruit, coffee, alcohol, grab-and-go meals, snacks, and so much more!

I was recently invited to go to Lucky’s to learn about their store, try some of their foods, and see what they have to offer! I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised with my experience. In fact, Grant and I may have found our new favorite grocery store 😉 Can’t wait to share with y’all!

Our first stop on our Lucky’s tour was the Cafe! The Cafe has tons of seating, from barstools to couches, ready for you to take a seat and relax from a long day at the parks. Lucky’s offers the unique experience of Sip and Stroll which allows you to drink while you shop – or just sit in the cafe – with $2 pints and $3 glasses of wine! They also offer a HUGE variety of teas, coffees, and health drinks like kombucha. Y’all know I am NOT a coffee drinker, but I tried one of their caramel frappes and I am OBSESSED. It was so delicious and caramel-y, not to mention it was cheaper than buying coffee in the parks. So whether you’re stopping for your morning coffee or for a night tap, they have something for everyone. Also, if you bring your own cup they give you $.25 off of your drink!

Did I mention Lucky’s hosts weekly trivia in their Cafe? Tuesday nights at the Vineland location you can test your knowledge for a chance to win free food! So locals, grab your friends and a drink and let’s play!

The Kitchen offers food for appetites big and small. Pizzas, subs, sweets, soup, salad, and so much more can be found here. We got a chance to try some of their signature dishes, and they were all delicious! Their subs are perfect to take into the parks and start at only $6.99; pretty sure you won’t find a huge sandwich for that price in the parks. They also offer 16” pizzas for only $9.99! And let me tell you, it was delicious and better than any of the park pizza I’ve had, plus there were a ton of topping options. In the mood for something lighter? They have an extensive soup and salad bar that will please. Lucky’s also has a huge section of grab-and-go food as well as hot food sold by the pound. Have a kitchen in your hotel room? Grab one of their ready-to-bake pizzas or bagged dinners for two! So whether you’re in need of a lunch to take to the parks, meals for your hotel room, or want to eat in the cafe, there is something for everyone’s tastebuds.

I can’t forget the fresh ramen & sushi bar! They offer both made-to-order and grab and go options. This is located right next to their meat department and y’all NEED to try their bacon lol. Their freshly cut meats are another great place to stop if you have a kitchen available to you. Lucky’s has seasoned ready-to-grill options perfect if you’re staying at Disney’s Campgrounds or another resort that offers grills!

The Apothecary has all of the vitamins, supplements, and other toiletries you may need. Whether you forgot your sunscreen, need some motion sickness medicine, or ran out of baby wipes, they have you covered! They offer a huge variety of health and beauty products, including organic and natural soaps and beauty products.

Love supporting local farmers and business? You can still shop at Lucky’s! Lucky’s works closely with local businesses to offer the freshest product and support small business. When you purchase Lucky’s Market brand products they donate 10% to the community, so you can do something you do every day and still do good for the community! Are you vegan, gluten-free, or dairy-free? Lucky’s has you covered! They have a huge variety of foods for people with all different diets and lifestyles.

Don’t forget about fresh produce! I was so surprised about some of the great sales going on in the produce section. I’m talking a whole pineapple for $.98 and avocados for $.88… I usually pay at least double that! In the mood for some fresh juice? Lucky’s has a fresh juice bar where they make lemonade, orange juice, and so much more every day! It was delicious.

You’re on vacation, treat yourself 😉 Lucky’s has a HUGE bulk section. Whether you need flour, rice, or nuts for cooking and baking, some sweets, or you want to make your own trail mix, Lucky’s has it! I was in awe of the variety. They had a whole bar dedicated to making your own trail mix! How cool is that? Such a great snack for the parks, and totally customizable. This would be a great stop if you have kids who are candy crazy! Let them fill up a small bag for them to pick at throughout the trip. Not only are these treats non-GMO, but you’re going to save a ton of money! I personally recommend the gummy bears 😉 You can actually tell the different flavors/colors apart.

I am so excited to have been invited to have learned more about Lucky’s Market and share it all with you. I’ll definitely be back to do some grocery shopping for myself, and to grab a bite to eat before or after the parks. I hope this provided some helpful information to y’all and that you’ll take advantage of it! Make sure to visit their website to find a Lucky’s Market near you. If you have any questions, feel free to drop them below!

Thanks for reading!

xoxo

💫My Short Review of Epic Universe💫 *as a Dis 💫My Short Review of Epic Universe💫
*as a Disney annual passholder*
(blog post & YouTube video coming soon)

‼️TLDR: Overall it was as chaotic as I expected so I was neither impressed nor disappointed. However I’m unsure how things will suddenly be running smoothly at the opening that’s just 2 weeks away.

✨I’ll start with our highlight which was mainly Super Nintendo World! I was a big Nintendo kid so this was very anticipated for me. While the rides were meh the land is extremely immersive. I do wish we had more time to explore the games you can play with the power up bands!

🍔As for food we didn’t eat a ton but had lunch at Oak & Star Tavern (BBQ) which was much better than I expected! Not the best theme park food I’ve ever had but definitely better than anything I’ve had at Universal in the past. We also got a frozen melon apple drink in Nintendo that was perfect for a hot day!

🐉Isle of Berk was cool overall but for such a niche IP I wasn’t really interested. The one ride we rode in the land - Hiccup’s Wing Gliders - ended up being our favorite!

🧟‍♂️Dark Universe was a tad underwhelming. I was really looking forward to it but it didn’t really do it for me. At night it was cool but the ride wasn’t as good as I was expecting. I’ve heard quotes that this is the “most technologically advanced ride in the world” and that’s simply not true. However the ride wasn’t as scary as I thought it would be!

🇫🇷Magical Paris was neat despite me not being a Harry Potter fan. It really felt like Paris! However the lack of attractions there is a huge problem.

🎢Despite it being technical rehearsals to me does not justify the amount of rides that were either completely shut down or broke at some point. Only 2 attractions in the entire park had zero issues all day. We rode 4 attractions since everything else was closed (2 would’ve caused motion sickness). I don’t see how these will magically be working in 2 weeks. The closures caused long wait time and chaos in every aspect. At opening they had no system for filtering people into queues in a reasonable manner. Something Disney figured out decades ago.

Glad we went and experienced something new! #epicuniverse

I snagged this iconic tweed jacket from @lillypulitzer most recent sale and I’m obsessed - I got the matching dress and can’t wait to wear it as a set💚

I’m also loving this belt from @jmclaughlin 🤍 As someone who struggles to find belts curated to my style when I saw this I fell in love. I finally snagged it in Newport Beach a few weeks ago and I’m obsessed! It truly elevates every look👏🏼
