Hey y’all! Can y’all believe that it is already May?! I am so excited for this month! I am finishing up my junior year of college this week and I have so much planned for the next few months. But today I wanted to share some pieces from Duffield Lane’s brand new Summer collection! This is my second time collaborating with the lovely Duffield Lane and the pieces from the last collection are still available on their site. If you missed the last blog post with them, check it out here to learn more about their brand.
Their latest collection is just amazing! So many great pieces for summer featuring eyelet, stripes, and other nautical touches. Duffield Lane is all about classic styles while staying on trend, which I love! In my opinion, all of these pieces are perfect for the transition from Spring to Summer. Also, Duffield Lane offers some great Mother’s Day gifts, including some Mommy & Me looks! Read until the end for a Mother’s Day coupon code 😉 Let’s get into it!
The Eyelet Monroe Dress in Julep
This darling piece is the Eyelet Monroe Dress in the color Julep. I know it’s a little late at this point, but I can totally see this dress being perfect for the Kentucky Derby! The eyelet, the ruffles… plus, the color is called JULEP. Come on y’all… This dress is perfect for any special occasion you have this summer; weddings, graduation parties, Mother’s Day tea, etc. This dress is also offered in white which is perfect for any brides-to-be! I love that there aren’t sleeves because y’all, I live in Florida lol. Also, the fact that the dress is cotton is perfect for the southern summer heat. The ruffles give it a feminine and delicate touch, and the length is just perfect. This timeless piece will never go out of style – you’ll be able to wear it over and over again for years. I am wearing a size S; I typically wear a size 4.
This is the Clearwater Dress in navy, and I am so in love with it! I will admit, I am obsessed with navy and stripes, but the silhouette is just so flattering! Between the V-neck, the flared skirt, and the cinched waist, this will give everyone an hourglass figure. I also love how this can definitely be dressed up or down. Dress it up with a pair of wedges, or dress it down with sandals and a white denim jacket. If you aren’t big on navy, they have a white option with orange and navy stripes. So nautical and perfect for summer. The fabric is so lightweight and airy, keeping you cool as well. Grant and I are planning to go on a cruise this year, and this will definitely be in my suitcase! This fit and flare look is so classic, flattering, and will never go out of style. I am wearing a size S.
This versatile piece is a MUST in everyone’s closet. This is a similar cut as the Walsh Top that I featured in my last lookbook! It is one of my favorite top cuts because of the slits on the sides. I tend to carry my weight in my hips, and when I get a longer top it sometimes pulls and makes it look too tight. These slits solve that problem entirely! Also, who can resist a good scallop? This top can also be tucked into skirts for a completely different look! If you aren’t too keen on the Julep color, they also offer it in white and navy. The eyelet just really makes any outfit look put together in my opinion. An eyelet top paired with something as simple as white jeans and some wedges can create a dressy summer look. I am wearing a size S.
