Hey y’all! I can’t believe The Pink Retreat 2019 is already over. The weekend FLEW BY and I wish I could relive it in slow motion. Today I am going to be doing a recap of the weekend! Hopefully this will convince some of y’all to come next year. If you want to see some video footage from the weekend head to my Instagram story highlights, and stay tuned to my YouTube channel for a haul and vlog of the weekend. I will also be doing some other blog posts here throughout the next few weeks covering hotels, FAQs, and more, so be sure to sign up for my email list so you don’t miss a post! Without any further delay, let’s get into the weekend recap!

First thing on Friday morning we headed to registration at the Lilly store on Worth Ave! This was where we picked up our swag bags, our name tags, and even got to mingle with some ladies. Since it was the first day of summer, AKA National Wear Your Lilly Day #NWYLD, they even had this fun photo booth set up for us where you could email yourself your shot. Our picture is down below 😉
I know y’all are probably wondering… What was in the swag bag?! If you want to see a full unboxing, head to my Instagram story highlights, or watch my haul on YouTube. Highlights of the swag bag included a Lilly Pulitzer scarf (I received Cheek to Cheek) and a necklace custom made by Lilly, engraved with TPR ’19. I was so blown away when I opened it, and definitely will be one of my new everyday jewelry pieces.
Friday morning was also when some ladies went on the Rick Rose tour of Worth Ave. I went on the tour last year, so I decided not to go this year. Rick Rose is the author of the book Palm Beach: The Essential Guide to America’s Legendary Resort Town and offers a wonderful, informative tour of Palm Beach. If you haven’t done the tour, I highly recommend it! But PLEASE remember to dress accordingly; I recommend active wear and sneakers, bringing water, and a personal fan or umbrella doesn’t hurt either.

During the afternoon a special event was held for us “Originals,” the ladies who attended in 2018 (the very first year of The Pink Retreat). We had a tea at The Chesterfield sponsored by Lilly Pulitzer. All of us received a charm to add to our necklace and were gifted an adoption of a turtle from Loggerhead Marine Life Center in our honor. The finger sandwiches and desserts were delicious, and the company was even better!
In the evening was the main event of the weekend, Happy Hour! We each received a drink coupon at registration as well as two raffle tickets, thanks to Lilly Pulitzer. I opted for the non-alcoholic option, which was DELICIOUS! Lilly donated two raffle prizes, a custom shift (that you can design at the Worth Ave store), as well as a pair of tickets to the Beach Bash Palm Beach, a fundraising event held in December in Palm Beach benefitting the Loggerhead Marine Life Center. During Happy Hour we also welcomed special guests Michelle Kelly, CEO of Lilly (pictured to my right in the photo below), and Lilly Leas Ferreira, granddaughter of Lilly Pulitzer herself. Overall, it was a great night of fun and meeting friends old and new.

To kick off Saturday morning, some ladies attended a sunrise yoga class thanks to some of the fabulous sponsors! While I didn’t get the chance to go, everyone seemed to have a blast. Thanks to the instructor, Dana Murphy of Bodhi Yoga, as well as Belle & Ten for a great giveaway prize, and sponsor Bethany Martine, Rodan & Fields Consultant.

All throughout the day ladies had the opportunity to head to The Gardens Mall, do some shopping, and relax in The Pink Retreat lounge. The lounge had a variety of seating available, all decked out in Lilly, as well as juices to sip on. And did I mention the live Lilly painting artist? We even got to put our names in a raffle to take the piece home at the end of the day.

One of my favorite activities from The Pink Retreat both this year and last year was Paint Night! There was technically a paint class in the morning on Saturday as well, but most ladies attended Friday evening. Paint Night was held at Uptown Art, which is just minutes from Palm Beach Island. This year there were a few different classes to choose from – a step-by-step class, a mixed media class, and a crafting class. My mom and I opted for the crafting class which was an independent class, meaning there was no teacher. We got our choice of a few different items to paint (we chose wine glasses), and I think they turned out pretty well 😉 There was a bar that had drinks for purchase and our sponsor, Fairy Godmother Travel, provided snacks as well as some great giveaway prizes! Pictured below is what the ladies painted in the step-by-step class.

Saturday evening was Girl’s Night Out sponsored by Prep Obsessed. We were all invited to stop by The Colony Hotel and get a goodie bag from Prep Obsessed, which was AWESOME! They even had a little sweet treat waiting for us from Nothing Bundt Cakes. I had never tried one of their bite-sized cakes before but now I’m obsessed. Our bag from Prep Obsessed included some awesome items including a Tervis cup, a Bug Bite Thing, earrings, a Teleties hair tie, and so much more! Again, head to my YouTube channel to watch my haul or go to my Instagram story highlights. It was so kind of them to sponsor this event and hook us all up with great goodies.

First thing in the morning there was a farewell event at The Colony. This was super casual and just allowed everyone to say their byes before heading out. The Colony even put out a little spread for us of fruit, yogurt, and muffins. It was a great way to close out the weekend.
The Print Inspiration Tour was the final event of the weekend. Ladies got to tour parts of the island with designers and artists from Lilly Pulitzer and learn a bit more about their process. It was super fascinating to see them at work. One special surprise from the tour was when the Tosha Top was announced! Tosha Williams is the creator of The Pink Retreat and in Summer 2020 you’ll be able to purchase one of these tops for yourself. I can’t wait to see how it turns out!

Some other weekend highlights included custom painted Lilly bags at the Worth Ave store on Friday and some special deals at The Breakers Lilly store throughout the weekend! Ladies were able to purchase Lilly bags and get custom artwork hand painted on them. At The Breakers store they had a special discount on their Breakers exclusive bag, as well as GWP and a luggage giveaway!
