Gifts for Parents & In-Laws – Holiday Gift Guide 2021

November 11, 2021 · In: Gift Guides

This was one of my most highly requested gift guides – gifts for in-laws! These are some gifts that I found that would be a great combined gifts for your parents, your in-laws, even grandparents or aunts/uncles. Be sure to check out my other holiday gift guides for more inspiration – the holidays are quickly approaching! But for now, let’s get into this gift guide.

For the outdoors lovers…

Gardening Stool with Tools

Perfect for the couple who loves to garden. And with the great price, you could even get two!

A Picnic Basket for Two

I feel like this is something everyone has always wanted, but never got. This is perfect for those who love going outside – maybe they have a cabin or camper. Plus I love gifts that encourage people to spend time with one another.

Yeti Cooler

Are Yeti’s expensive? Yes. Are they worth the hype? Also yes! We’ve had ours for about 4 years now and love it. It keeps ice frozen for days, it is bear proof, super durable, and so much more. This particular model is even tall enough to hold wine bottles – but it is also slender enough for easy transportation.

For the home chefs…

Our Place Always Pan Set

This was the ultimate gift last year – and thankfully it hasn’t sold out yet this year! The pan that does it all – it is a nonstick fry and sauté pan, steamer, skillet, saucier, spatula and spoon rest. Plus it comes in some fabulous colors.

Dinner with Jackson Pollock Cookbook

Where art meets food! This fun spin on a cookbook is the perfect gift. It is sold out almost everywhere but available at the small business linked above! Don’t wait to purchase!

Click & Grow Smart Garden

What avid cookers don’t want to grow their only herbs (or veggies)? This system makes it easy to grow your essentials indoors, regardless of the climate you live in. Plus this model waters itself!

For the sentimental family…

Personalized Photo Stamp Ornament

Who doesn’t love a personalized ornament? I love these ones that look like stamps! Customize up to 20 characters – use a date, location, family name, etc.

Personalized Family Calendar

This is a great gift to give to include a variety of family photos in. Whether you have kids, pets, just got married, or if you want to compile your favorite family photos – it’s a gift that can be enjoyed all through 2022.

Homesick Scented Candle

These candles come in a variety of cities, states, and even countries. It is the perfect gift for someone who has maybe moved, or just gift them a location they love! Almost any location can be found on Amazon, linked above.

For the travel enthusiasts…

Assouline Travel Series Coffee Table Books

I know I shared another one of these in a previous gift guide, but they really are a great gift! A wide variety of cities are available – so check it out. This is the Athens one available from Assouline – but also check out this small business that also stocks some of them.

Gray Malin 2-in-1 Travel Game Set

Gray Malin is a talented travel photographer – he has works from all over the world, including in the U.S. This two in one game set features some of his iconic photography and folds up to make it easy to travel with. One side can be used as a backgammon board and the other is a checker board.

National Park Topography Tray

Know some national park lovers? Customize this tray with your choice of over 10 national parks! This way they can keep a piece of it with them at home.

That’s a wrap for this gift guide! I hope this inspired you with some gift ideas for your parents, in-laws, or whoever you see fit. Be sure to subscribe to my email list down below to be notified when my next gift guide is live.

Cheers!

While this Christmas photo looks different than pl While this Christmas photo looks different than planned this year, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas surrounded by peace and love🫶🏼

My prayer is that next year brings the blessings we hoped and prayed for this year, whether those things are big or small.

I’m so glad we decided to take a pit stop at @mo I’m so glad we decided to take a pit stop at @morganjuliadesigns brand new Jersey City location on our way home from NYC🫶🏼 This only added about 20min to our trip which was well worth it!🪡 Such a beautiful shop with so many great canvases👏🏼

Some tidbits from our trip as a NYC first-timer🚕

We stayed at @omniberkshirenyc - overall we enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect (right in between 5th Ave & Madison Ave) and was a short walk to Rockefeller and Central Park. Only complaint is that the rooms were very hot (75*+). They also had valet parking that we utilized. We drove into the city and while time consuming it wasn’t as stressful/difficult as we had imagined. I’d certainly drive in again.

Our highlights were @therockettes and walking through Central Park. We walked everywhere with the exception of a boat ride we did. We booked a car through RideLux for that which I do not recommend, about equal service to Uber for 2x the price.

The boat ride with Classic Harbor Line felt like it wasn’t worth the $100/pp price tag. Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close was neat, but that was about it. Also, if you get sea sick CHL is NOT for you!

Shopping overall was underwhelming, but we did hit the classic FAO Schwarz which regardless of the long line this time of year was a must-do! We got there 10min before opening and only waited about 10min after opening to get in.

As for dining we did some quick spots around the city including Springbone Kitchen - perfect for a fast casual but healthy meal - we did pick up and took it to our room! Ralph’s Coffee in UES was also on my must-do list and honestly it didn’t disappoint! I’ve been to the Paris and NYC locations now and both times it’s been delicious and the perfect drinking temperature, even if you do have to wait a bit. For dinner we got a same day reservation for BG at Bergdorf’s - the food and service were great and reasonably priced imo!

I’m so happy we got to experience NYC at Christmas as it’s been on my bucket list my entire life! I love a trip filled with firsts, since they’re what make lasting memories!✨

✨48hrs in NYC✨ Somehow at 27 I had still never ✨48hrs in NYC✨
Somehow at 27 I had still never been to NYC until now🌃 I’ve always dreamed of going to NYC as a little girl, especially at Christmas! Today dreams came true with a visit to Radio City Music Hall to see @therockettes and it did not disappoint👏🏼 I’ll be sharing more tidbits from my trip over the next few days🚕

*also brownie points to whoever can tell me where this iconic townhome is from😉*

30 hours at the most festive place on earth🏰🎄

We booked this trip after my miscarriage so we could get out of town, even just for a night, and embrace ourselves in holiday magic✨ While nothing will take away the pain and heartache, distractions help the days pass faster🤍

Next week we’re off to NYC for a few days full of firsts!🚕 Defintiely nervous but excited for this bucket list trip✅
