My Current Lilly Pulitzer Favorites – Feb 2022

February 21, 2022 · In: Lifestyle

It has been a while since I did one of these posts. You guys always love them so I figured it was time! Spring is upon us – temperatures have hit the 50s multiple times in Pittsburgh over the past week – so I figured it was the perfect time to do this.

I’m excited to see what the summer collection looks like, but until then we’ll get into these early spring pieces.

Gulianna Stretch Shift Dress

This print just came out last week and it is calling my name! Any print specifically having to do with Palm Beach/Worth Avenue is always on my buy list. I love the classic pink and green and I love the belt!

Greydon Canvas Tote

I need another tote like I need a hole in the head, but this one is just fabulous! Lilly released this same style last year in a different pink and green print and I kinda regret not getting it. I heard this can even fit a laptop so maybe that is an excuse to get it..?

Harriet Dress

This dress is so fun! The punch of pink just screams Lilly. And this print honestly is giving me Hawaiian vibes. I once again love the belt, and the slight puff sleeve is just a bonus!

Kay Babydoll Dress

I love the silhouette of this dress! I’m not going to lie though, I’d probably never buy it for myself because of the color – orange is not my color. While I wish it came in more colors, I know it will look great on other ladies!

Kenna Stretch Top

This top is definitely on my to-buy list! It is so classic and feminine; I just love it. Plus I feel like you can dress it up or down. Definitely pricey for a piece that doesn’t scream “Lilly” – but a great staple for any closet.

Alision Dress

Another dress with a great silhouette! I love the tiered look and you could easily throw on a denim jacket with this to keep warm. And in my opinion, this color palette is so flattering on any skin tone.

Laylani Denim Jacket

What Lilly lover wouldn’t want a PINK denim jacket? This will go with essentially anything Lilly, or is fun with just blue jeans and a white tee. So many ways to wear it, and a great wardrobe staple. Plus, it has a fun slight puff sleeve!

Luxletic 6″ Weekender High Rise Shorts

Some of you may know I recently got a Peloton – therefore I’m all about stocking up on new athletic wear! Plus, I love wearing biker shorts during the summer. They’re so comfy, easy to wear, and perfect for vacations like Disney.

Luxletic 28″ Corso Pant

If you’ve followed me here for a while, you may know my love for Corso Pants! These are my favorite pant Lilly sells and I highly recommend them. They’re extremely comfortable and appropriate not just for golf, but everyday wear. I will definitely be getting these white ones! They’re moisture-wicking, while still looking like normal pants. They can be worn to the office or on the green.

Kenna Stretch Top

Another fun top that can be dressed up or down! This would be perfect with the white Corso Pant. I also love that it has stretch in it so it is breathable and comfortable.

Miesha Scalloped Skort

I love a good scalloped detail and I love a good athletic skort – so this is a match made in heaven! It comes in pink or white, so there are a ton of styling possibilities. You can get the matching tank here.

Lilly Pulitzer x Pottery Barn Teen Backpack

Do I need another backpack? Absolutely not. Is this cute? Yes! I love that they’ve brought some old pieces of the PB collection back while adding some new fun pieces like this.

I hope you enjoyed viewing my current Lilly Pulitzer favorites! If you enjoyed this, be sure to sign up for my email list down below to be notified the next time I post – and I may do another Lilly roundup once the summer collection is released.

Cheers!

xoxo

Some tidbits from our trip as a NYC first-timer🚕

We stayed at @omniberkshirenyc - overall we enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect (right in between 5th Ave & Madison Ave) and was a short walk to Rockefeller and Central Park. Only complaint is that the rooms were very hot (75*+). They also had valet parking that we utilized. We drove into the city and while time consuming it wasn’t as stressful/difficult as we had imagined. I’d certainly drive in again.

Our highlights were @therockettes and walking through Central Park. We walked everywhere with the exception of a boat ride we did. We booked a car through RideLux for that which I do not recommend, about equal service to Uber for 2x the price.

The boat ride with Classic Harbor Line felt like it wasn’t worth the $100/pp price tag. Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close was neat, but that was about it. Also, if you get sea sick CHL is NOT for you!

Shopping overall was underwhelming, but we did hit the classic FAO Schwarz which regardless of the long line this time of year was a must-do! We got there 10min before opening and only waited about 10min after opening to get in.

As for dining we did some quick spots around the city including Springbone Kitchen - perfect for a fast casual but healthy meal - we did pick up and took it to our room! Ralph’s Coffee in UES was also on my must-do list and honestly it didn’t disappoint! I’ve been to the Paris and NYC locations now and both times it’s been delicious and the perfect drinking temperature, even if you do have to wait a bit. For dinner we got a same day reservation for BG at Bergdorf’s - the food and service were great and reasonably priced imo!

I’m so happy we got to experience NYC at Christmas as it’s been on my bucket list my entire life! I love a trip filled with firsts, since they’re what make lasting memories!✨

✨48hrs in NYC✨ Somehow at 27 I had still never ✨48hrs in NYC✨
Somehow at 27 I had still never been to NYC until now🌃 I’ve always dreamed of going to NYC as a little girl, especially at Christmas! Today dreams came true with a visit to Radio City Music Hall to see @therockettes and it did not disappoint👏🏼 I’ll be sharing more tidbits from my trip over the next few days🚕

*also brownie points to whoever can tell me where this iconic townhome is from😉*

30 hours at the most festive place on earth🏰🎄

We booked this trip after my miscarriage so we could get out of town, even just for a night, and embrace ourselves in holiday magic✨ While nothing will take away the pain and heartache, distractions help the days pass faster🤍

Next week we’re off to NYC for a few days full of firsts!🚕 Defintiely nervous but excited for this bucket list trip✅

Last week I was supposed to be graduating from the Last week I was supposed to be graduating from the fertility clinic I’ve been getting treatment at since January. Instead we were told our baby girl no longer had a heartbeat. Thanksgiving is supposed to be a time to be thankful, and this year that is extremely difficult.

For the rest of our lives we will question why this happened to us. We’ll wonder who she would’ve looked more like? What color would her eyes have been? Would she have loved the things we loved? I will yearn for you forever, baby girl. A piece of our hearts will always be with you, our first baby, now in heaven.

I’m sharing this not for pity or for attention, in fact I’ve felt very embarrassed to share. But I noticed after sharing my IVF journey a few months ago it opened a door for conversation. Conversations with people who have been through it, are going through it, or are curious about the process. These conversations are so important to break the stigma of fertility treatment regardless of your age or diagnosis. While I don’t share every detail of my journey, I’m choosing to share this to show it’s not always a straight and narrow path.

So if you’re reading this and resonate, my heart is with you. You are not alone. You did nothing wrong. If you’re reading this and know someone going through it - I urge you to reach out. Whether it’s to tell them you’re thinking of them, or whether you’re offering a helping hand. This experience is isolating, scary, and confusing. I promise you that if someone has shared their journey with you and you decide to stay silent, it hurts.
