If you’ve been here a while you may know that last year my husband and I bought our first home! It’s been quite the journey of making this builder-grade home our own – it’s taken a lot of time and money. That being said, we’ve definitely done our best to save money where we can; painting ourselves, replacing fixtures ourselves, and finding great dupes for items that have caught our eye. Today I wanted to share some of these look for less finds with you all!
I’ve curated so many of these over the past few months and honestly it has become one of my favorite hobbies! So I hope a few of these finds can potentially help you refresh your home. Be sure to share this with a friend who may find it helpful as well!
Bamboo Detailed Mirror
I saw this Serena & Lily mirror and fell in love with it for our guest bathroom refurb! What I didn’t love was the price… One day I was walking through Lowe’s and saw essentially the same thing for a fraction of the price! I bought it right away and am so satisfied with it.
Spindle Chair
I was looking for some accent chairs for our living space and I loved the look of these spindle chairs, but couldn’t fathom the price point. After some searching I found this one for a fraction of the price. I’ve now had them for quite a few months and I love them and would highly recommend!
Cordless Table Lamps
These cordless table lamps have been everywhere the past few months! The original version I saw last summer sometime, but thankfully shortly after I started seeing dupes. I personally got mine at HomeGoods for under $20 each, but Amazon has some great options as well! These are perfect for hosting, for rooms you may lack power outlets, for dorm rooms, and so much more. They have so many colors, too!
Jute Rug
Jute rugs are so cute and chic in my opinion. Considering I have a cat, I’m not sure if I’d ever get one myself but I certainly want one. This floral design one is so classic and adds some interest to an otherwise plain rug. Walmart has recently come out with their own version, which comes in tons of sizes for an amazing price.
Scalloped Detail Lamp
It can be so hard to find a cute lamp that is perfect for your space. This one I’ve had my eye on for a while – I love the shape of it and the scalloped shade! However, the price I just can’t see being worth it. Thankfully I recently found this one that is super similar and the price is a bit easier to swallow!
Rattan Placemats
Placemats can be so expensive, and if you’re like me and end up posting large groups the price can add up! These rattan placemats are so classic but pricey. These ones offer a similar look for only a few dollars each!
Rattan Ottoman
Ottomans are so useful around the home. They can serve as both decor and functional pieces! I love this rattan one, it can go with just about anything, but it is a bit pricey. I found a great dupe for less than half of the price, so it’s definitely worth checking out!
Scalloped Rattan Baskets
Function and cute home decor is definitely the key to an organized and put together space! If you can’t tell, I love a scallop and a rattan piece – these baskets are a match made in heaven. These name brand ones are pricey and sold separately. Or you can get this duo on Amazon for one price!
Scalloped Rattan Lamp
Another great lamp option to get the look for less! These ones are incredibly chic but I’m not sure if it’s worth almost $300. You can get a set of two of these more affordable lamps for around $100.
Gold Pendant Lighting
When we moved we knew our builder-grade lighting in our kitchen had to go! I wanted something like these chic gold pendant lights. What I’ve learned over the past year or so is that there are so many dupes for lighting out there! We got these ones from Amazon, have had them up for over a year and have no complaints!
