Welcome back to my series where I am sharing my favorite Disney dining options! There are so many fabulous restaurants on Disney property, you don’t have to eat just basic theme park food. I have dined at a good amount of Disney’s restaurants, so I kind of consider myself a Disney Foodie! It’s no secret that Disney Springs offers some amazing dining options.
Today is all about sit-down dining at Disney Springs. Many of these options are eligible for the Disney Dining Plan, so I’ll be sure to note what does/doesn’t qualify. If you’re looking for quick-service, be sure to check out my previous post from this series where I talk about quick-service options at Disney Springs.
1. The BOATHOUSE
This is by far my favorite sit-down restaurant at Disney Springs – it may honestly be my favorite on Disney property! The food is amazing, the ambience is great, and the service is superb. I highly recommend their filet mignon sliders and chocolate cake, but you really can’t go wrong with anything. They have super fun cocktails, a raw bar, and tons of options for kids. It’s the perfect stop, no matter what your travel party looks like! The BOATHOUSE is Disney Dining Plan eligible.
2. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’
Looking for mouthwatering southern comfort food? Homecomin’ is the perfect spot! Featuring amazing recipes by Chef Art Smith, you must try this spot at least once. I personally recommend the thigh high chicken biscuits. They also feature a drink menu where some drinks are stronger than others, IYKYK. They also offer a fabulous brunch on the weekends. Homecomin’ is Disney Dining Plan eligible.
3. Splitsville
You may be reading this and thinking, Splitsville? Really? A bowling alley? Yes! It’s a little known secret – Splitsville has a vast menu with delicious food that the whole family will love. Their salads, pizzas, and sushi are all delicious! You also do not have to bowl in order to dine here, so I’d definitely give it a try. Splitsville is Disney Dining Plan eligible.
4. Wine Bar George
Wine Bar George doesn’t have the largest menu, but it is delicious! All of their appetizers are amazing and I love going on the weekends for their brunch. They also offer a lunch menu during the week, which is still on my list to try! Plus, you can’t go wrong with their extensive wine menu and getting expert recommendations from owner George Miliotes, Master Sommelier. This location is not Disney Dining Plan eligible.
5. Summer House On the Lake
To be honest, this is probably my least favorite of my top 5 – but I know many people enjoy this spot, so I wanted to make sure I included it on my list. This is a newer spot and I’ve dined here on two occasions. I’ve tried the chicken sandwich and the tacos – I definitely preferred the chicken sandwich. And while I personally enjoy Gideon’s cookies more than Summer House’s cookie selection, it’s nice to have an option where you don’t have to wait in a very long line to order a cookie. The vibe here is great and it is a good addition to Disney Springs! This location is not Disney Dining Plan eligible.
