Fall Trends For Less 2019 – Leopard Print For Under $50

August 9, 2019 · In: Fall & Winter, Fashion

Hey y’all! Hope you’ve all had a great week! Today I am starting a series called Fall Trends For Less. I’ll be posting once a week during this series and each week I’ll be covering a different Fall trend for 2019 and how you can wear it for less. I love a good splurge every once in a while, but I generally like to keep my clothes affordable. And while I typically do a more classic look with my clothes, I love to get into trends every once in a while. In fact, leopard is something I’ve seen over the past few years in classic and preppy brands like J.Crew and Barrington Gifts!

I found some leopard items that I wanted to share with y’all, all different styles! I tried to keep everything under $50. Hope y’all enjoy!

This Belt From Target

This is great for someone who isn’t too sure about the whole leopard thing. In my opinion, leopard is a Fall neutral. It goes with black, brown, and navy. It’ll give any outfit a little pop, without being too overwhelming! Plus, it’s only $16.99.

This Leopard Collar Sweater From J.Crew Factory

This sweater is so cute! I’ll definitely have to snag this for myself. Another little pop for those of you who are hesitant to hop on the trend. So easy to throw on with a pair of jeans. J.Crew Factory is always having great sales, so keep your eyes peeled for those! At the time of writing this, this sweater is $40.

This Leopard Midi Dress From Target

I am loving this dress from Target! I love the midi style, the print, and the belt that is giving me all the vintage vibes. Target has really stepped up their clothing game lately! This is definitely a bolder piece, but can easily be evened out with a denim jacket. This dress is under $30 and comes in plus sizes!

This Lace Trim Cami From Forever 21

I saw these EVERYWHERE last year! But they were all so expensive, I wasn’t willing to splurge. But this one from Forever 21 is only $14.99! I also love that it’s a lighter tan, making it a great piece to transition from Summer to Fall.

These Mules From Shein

Two types of shoes I’ve been loving lately are espadrilles and mules. Combining the two PLUS leopard is a match made in heaven! Another great piece to transition from Summer to Fall. These are on sale right now for only $18.

This Crossbody From Target

I couldn’t make this post without including a bag. This isn’t technically leopard print, but it’s the same idea. This cute crossbody will match anything in your closet. Plus it’s only $17.99!

I hope y’all enjoyed this little fashion post! I’ll be sure to post another next week to help y’all get ready for fall. Be sure to sign up for my email list down below so you don’t miss my next post, and leave a comment below if there are any trends you want me to cover. I’d love to hear which leopard print piece is your favorite!

Thanks for reading!

xoxo

While this Christmas photo looks different than pl While this Christmas photo looks different than planned this year, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas surrounded by peace and love🫶🏼

My prayer is that next year brings the blessings we hoped and prayed for this year, whether those things are big or small.

I’m so glad we decided to take a pit stop at @mo I’m so glad we decided to take a pit stop at @morganjuliadesigns brand new Jersey City location on our way home from NYC🫶🏼 This only added about 20min to our trip which was well worth it!🪡 Such a beautiful shop with so many great canvases👏🏼

Some tidbits from our trip as a NYC first-timer🚕

We stayed at @omniberkshirenyc - overall we enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect (right in between 5th Ave & Madison Ave) and was a short walk to Rockefeller and Central Park. Only complaint is that the rooms were very hot (75*+). They also had valet parking that we utilized. We drove into the city and while time consuming it wasn’t as stressful/difficult as we had imagined. I’d certainly drive in again.

Our highlights were @therockettes and walking through Central Park. We walked everywhere with the exception of a boat ride we did. We booked a car through RideLux for that which I do not recommend, about equal service to Uber for 2x the price.

The boat ride with Classic Harbor Line felt like it wasn’t worth the $100/pp price tag. Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close was neat, but that was about it. Also, if you get sea sick CHL is NOT for you!

Shopping overall was underwhelming, but we did hit the classic FAO Schwarz which regardless of the long line this time of year was a must-do! We got there 10min before opening and only waited about 10min after opening to get in.

As for dining we did some quick spots around the city including Springbone Kitchen - perfect for a fast casual but healthy meal - we did pick up and took it to our room! Ralph’s Coffee in UES was also on my must-do list and honestly it didn’t disappoint! I’ve been to the Paris and NYC locations now and both times it’s been delicious and the perfect drinking temperature, even if you do have to wait a bit. For dinner we got a same day reservation for BG at Bergdorf’s - the food and service were great and reasonably priced imo!

I’m so happy we got to experience NYC at Christmas as it’s been on my bucket list my entire life! I love a trip filled with firsts, since they’re what make lasting memories!✨

✨48hrs in NYC✨ Somehow at 27 I had still never ✨48hrs in NYC✨
Somehow at 27 I had still never been to NYC until now🌃 I’ve always dreamed of going to NYC as a little girl, especially at Christmas! Today dreams came true with a visit to Radio City Music Hall to see @therockettes and it did not disappoint👏🏼 I’ll be sharing more tidbits from my trip over the next few days🚕

*also brownie points to whoever can tell me where this iconic townhome is from😉*

30 hours at the most festive place on earth🏰🎄

We booked this trip after my miscarriage so we could get out of town, even just for a night, and embrace ourselves in holiday magic✨ While nothing will take away the pain and heartache, distractions help the days pass faster🤍

Next week we’re off to NYC for a few days full of firsts!🚕 Defintiely nervous but excited for this bucket list trip✅
