Fall Fashion Wish List for 2024 – The Northern Prepster

It is undeniably fall here in PA! We have had cool weather the past few weeks, the leaves are changing, and the sun is setting a little too early for my liking. I truly wish fall lasted longer as I feel that it always goes too quickly. Today I wanted to share my fall fashion wish list for 2024!

These are pieces I’ve been swooning over and wanting to his “buy” on. If you’re looking for some fall fashion inspiration hopefully this will guide you!

Navy Equestrian Toile Nap Dress

If you’ve been here a while you know I love a nap dress! They are key for making you look put together with just one simple piece. Plus they’re a great piece to build off of and layer for any weather. With this on particularly I am OBSESSED with the equestrian print! I’ve had my eye on this one for a while so hopefully it will make it into my closet soon enough.

Mini Horsebit Structured Bag

I have realized that I have literally no fall/winter handbags… I am in love with this one from Anthropologie! I love that you can carry it as a crossbody or a small handbag. I personally love the brown, but it comes in a few colors. Plus this style with the horsebit is classic and won’t go out of style.

Bow Print Scarf

Y’all know I cannot resist a bow! I saw this scarf and it is just so cute – and under $25. While I don’t typically go for gray – this would be perfect with an all black look.

Antelope Royal Shirt Dress

Now you may have seen this Tuckernuck dress before as it has been around for YEARS. I always consider getting it but have never pulled the trigger since Tuckernuck sizing doesn’t always work the best on me. But this is just so effortlessly chic and you can certainly carry this through spring. There are many other prints available as well.

Clog Mule Flats

Yeah… Clogs are kinda back in? And while I don’t go for trends typically – I do have a pair of jeans I think these would be perfect with! That being said I’ll likely pick up an affordable pair for a good “throw on” shoe.

Collarless Tweed Jacket

I love a tweed jacket! However, many tweed jackets don’t look quite right on me as they tend to be a big short/cropped. This one however appears to drop below the hip – which would be much more flattering on my body shape. A piece like this you will invest in and keep for years to come!

Equestrian Buckle Leather Belt

Can you tell I have a thing for the equestrian vibe for fall? I feel like cute belts are hard to find – especially for a reasonable price. I typically don’t even wear a belt because I can never seem to find any that fit well. This one is so cute and a great price!

Rollneck Novelty Sweater

I am absolutely in love with this sweater! Something about a novelty sweater really gets me. I love the rollneck and of course the dog. While this item is currently on back order, I’m still considering it since I think it is a piece I would bring out year after year.

Knitted Ruffle Boot Socks

Technically I already own these, but if I didn’t they’d be on my wish list. I get so used to wearing sandals in the summer, that when we get into fall and I need to wear socks regularly I want them to be cute! I love the ruffle on these so they can peak out of cute boots.

Steele Knit Chelsea Boot

We can’t have a fall wish list without at least one pair of boots! These ones from Sam Edelman just scream fall in New England to me! They have a great rustic look – both fashionable and functional. And they’d look great with some denim.
