For the past few years I’ve written a post in January that features my most used items of the previous year. I think it’s helpful information for you all! Perhaps you were looking into investing in something and was curious if it was worth it. Hopefully this will help with that!
While I try not to repeat items, my posts for 2022 and 2023 certainly hold up! So you may want to check those posts out as well.
Platform Sneakers
These platform sneakers from Target have been some of my most worn shoes for a few years now! They typically offer different colors throughout the year – I have 2 pairs that I love. They’re so comfortable! I wear them to Disney, to sporting events, any everything in between. They’re great quality, super supportive, and super chic.
Chic Crock Pot
A crock pot seems like such a simple thing – growing up in the north it is certainly a house essential. But I’ve learned so many people don’t have one! In my opinion, you can never have too many. They’re perfect for a chili in the winter, meal prepping, and keeping food warm while hosting. I don’t have this exact one (mine is no longer sold) but I love these ones that don’t make you cringe when it’s out on the counter. So chic!
Custom Closet
In January of 2024 I got my builder grade closet built out into a custom closet! We went through Closets by Design and had a great experience. This was definitely a splurge and I really went back and forth on if it would be worth it. Well I can now officially say it was! This is something I (obviously) use every day. It has helped me stay organized. And overall I would highly recommend splurging for anyone considering it.
Rechargable Lamps
I know I shared so many rechargeable lamps last year – I am obsessed! These are so handy for hosting, day-to-day, and summer nights outdoors. There are so many different options out there depending on your style and aesthetic.
Estée Lauder Double Wear Foundation
I rarely try new makeup but my friend suggested this foundation to me and I love it! I personally love a full coverage foundation and this is the perfect buildable option. Plus I was able to find a shade that matches me super well, which is hard to olive skin.
DJI Osmo Pocket 3
This may not be super helpful if you’re not a content creator who uses video – but I wanted to feature this anyway! While I did get this camera toward the end of the year, I have been loving it! I’d highly recommend this if you’re looking for a camera for both short form and long videos. It makes everything look great and is overall easy to work with.
Divi Dry Shampoo
Every few years I feel like I discover a new dry shampoo that I love more than the last! In 2024 I grabbed the Divi dry shampoo at my local Ulta in Target and I was not disappointed. I’ve struggled with hair loss in the past and had used their scalp serum, so I was excited to see them extend their product line over the years. I’ve been loving this!
Sunbetter Sheer SPF
This past year I’ve tried to get my skin under control and protect it more. I was recommended this SPF by a esthetician and while it is certainly a splurge it is great! So many face SPFs can break me out and make my skin even more oily – but this doesn’t. I use this day-to-day but when I travel and apply more often I just use something from the drugstore.
Facial Cleanser Spray for Acne
This is another skincare find from this year. While this was not recommended to me by a professional, I do find it works! I am naturally oily, and very sweat prone. That being said I can often feel the need to wash my face mid-day, which I know isn’t great for it. I spray this on and I’ve seen a difference with my acne caused from sweat and oil. I also use it on my back and chest as needed.
Pearl Stud Earrings
This seems so cliche but a cheap pair of pearl studs is honestly my most worn jewelry item of 2024. Using my faux pearl earrings so much really makes me want to invest in a nice pair since I know I will get good use out of them. They are the perfect earrings to throw in when you’re unsure of what to put on. I think they instantly make you look and feel more put together! I wear them with anything from athleisure to a formal dress. I love this 3-pack since it comes with different sizes depending on the vibe you’re going for.
