Who doesn’t look like a good advent calendar? They are so fun and they aren’t just for the kiddos 😉 Today, I am sharing some of my favorite advent calendar finds with you for every member of your family.
Don’t forget to shop now – the good ones always sell out fast!
Today I wanted to share something fun I got in the mail this past week, as well as share my unbiased thoughts with you! As y’all probably know, I am a huge Disney fan and a Lilly lover, so many years ago I discovered Pretty Little Monograms. If you have never heard of them, they are a great small business specializing in all things Disney and preppy. They sell so many unique items for women, men, and kids – and they are always rotating their designs so there is something for everyone.
A while ago they started selling PLMystery Mailers, and I have definitely been curious. They come out with a different mailer each month, each of a different theme. It is NOT a subscription, which gives you the flexibility to just buy one or get one each month.
So let us dive into September’s PLMystery Mailer!
P.S. I didn’t want to spoil too much in my cover pic – so the shirt I am rocking is from Caloosa WaterWear – use code JAYME20 for a discount!
A few weeks ago, I found my wedding dress! We went shopping the weekend of my bridal shower – which was in mid-September – and I could not have asked for a better experience.
It was super important for me to have my best friend Gabby there, and since she was traveling in for the weekend it just made sense to do it now! Plus, most bridal shops recommend shopping between 6-9 months before your big day since getting the dress made can take a hot minute, especially right now with COVID. Needless to say, everything worked out perfectly!
If you follow me on Instagram, you may know that my bridal shower was a few weeks ago. We are not getting married until May, so traditionally it is a bit early to have a bridal shower – but I wanted to avoid the holiday season and the never-ending Pennsylvania winter. September just made the most sense for us and I do not regret my decision at all!
Additionally – since we are having a destination wedding – people will already be traveling, so this gave us the chance to break things up in case people needed to travel for the shower and the wedding. I know y’all are always curious about wedding stuff, so I wanted to share some snapshots of my shower with you all!
I want to give a huge shoutout to my mom, my sister, and my MOH Gabby for all the work they put in. Also, huge thanks to Grant, Vinnie, Bryce, and our family friends Debbie, Pam, and Shelby for helping out as well. I appreciate you!
Today is the start of a super fun series here on my blog! For years I have been curious about personal shopping services, more specifically ones that are affordable for the average person. So I’ve decided to create a series about trying these services and giving my unbiased thoughts to you!
This week I am trying out Amazon’s Personal Shopper service. I thought this would be the perfect time since we are slowly transitioning into fall and since I’ve lived in Florida the past 3 years my fall and winter clothing options are slim to none lol. Hopefully with the help of some personal shoppers I’ll get some new pieces I love!
