Essentials for Life by the Water Featuring Caloosa WaterWear

April 12, 2019 · In: Fashion, Lifestyle, Spring & Summer

Hey y’all! Today’s post is brought to you by Caloosa WaterWear. They so kindly sent some goodies over for Grant and myself to share with y’all! Caloosa WaterWear is a lifestyle brand based out of Delray Beach, FL. Their goal is to combine fashion and performance for the best experience while embracing life by the water. No worries if you don’t live by the beach! Their products can be enjoyed not only by the beach, but also at the pool or on the lake, or wherever you live. Also, stay tuned until the end for a 20% off discount code!

Let’s get into it!

Tank Tops

Tanks are a MUST for the summer time, no matter where you live! Sometimes it’s just too darn hot for sleeves lol. Not only do I wear tanks everywhere during the summer, but I wear them all year around when I hit the gym. Caloosa offers so many fun designs in their tanks! Above I am rocking the Flamingo Palms Tank. It is a racerback style and made with a heathered fabric that adds texture. It’s a ladies cut, but is flowy at the same time. I’m wearing a size S. Some of their other designs I love include Jellyfish Bloom, Mermaid Racer Back, and Sunshine State.

UPF Long Sleeves

Caloosa WaterWear offers a wide variety of designs on their Ultra Comfort Shirts. These long sleeve shirts are made of a moisture wicking performance fabric that includes UPF 30 sun protection. While we all love a nice tan, too much sun can cause skin damage so we need to protect our skin! These are perfect for in or out of the water. Whether you’re laying in the sand, on the boat, or even just doing some gardening, this top is perfect. I am seen wearing the Sunshine State design in a size S. Women’s sizes are fitted. Also, a fun feature of the Sunshine State design is that it can be customized with any Florida city name you want for only $5 extra! Such a fun way to customize your tee.

Don’t Forget About the Guys

Grant fell in love with his Caloosa WaterWear shirts the moment he put them on! Grant burns very easily, so the Ultra Comfort Shirts are perfect for him. You may think wearing a long sleeve when it’s 80+ degrees out doesn’t make much sense… We were both skeptical, but now we are believers! We managed to stay cool so much longer while protecting our skin. And the moisture wicking fabric helped us stay dry. Grant is rocking the American Fish and Shipwrecked designs. CWW also offers fishing shirts for men and women as well – check them out!

Keep Your Drinks Cool

Not only does Caloosa WaterWear have apparel, they also offer a variety of accessories and home goods. Their beverage tumblers come in a variety of designs and include a reusable lid. They’re 12oz and double insulated, allowing your drink to stay cooler longer. And since they’re reusable you’re helping the planet & the turtles 😉 They also offer drink coasters, water bottles, mugs, kids clothes, and so much more!

I hope this post gave you some ideas on items you may need to snag for the warm weather ahead! By the coast or inland, Caloosa WaterWear offers summer necessities for you and your family. Don’t forget to stop by their website and use code JAYME20 at checkout for 20% off! Also, be sure to check them out on Instagram, @CaloosaWaterWear.

Thanks for reading!

xoxo
Jayme

These tops scream Florida and I love it. I really like that tumbler too. I’ll have to checkout this shop. Thank you Jayme.

While this Christmas photo looks different than pl While this Christmas photo looks different than planned this year, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas surrounded by peace and love🫶🏼

My prayer is that next year brings the blessings we hoped and prayed for this year, whether those things are big or small.

I’m so glad we decided to take a pit stop at @mo I’m so glad we decided to take a pit stop at @morganjuliadesigns brand new Jersey City location on our way home from NYC🫶🏼 This only added about 20min to our trip which was well worth it!🪡 Such a beautiful shop with so many great canvases👏🏼

Some tidbits from our trip as a NYC first-timer🚕

We stayed at @omniberkshirenyc - overall we enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect (right in between 5th Ave & Madison Ave) and was a short walk to Rockefeller and Central Park. Only complaint is that the rooms were very hot (75*+). They also had valet parking that we utilized. We drove into the city and while time consuming it wasn’t as stressful/difficult as we had imagined. I’d certainly drive in again.

Our highlights were @therockettes and walking through Central Park. We walked everywhere with the exception of a boat ride we did. We booked a car through RideLux for that which I do not recommend, about equal service to Uber for 2x the price.

The boat ride with Classic Harbor Line felt like it wasn’t worth the $100/pp price tag. Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close was neat, but that was about it. Also, if you get sea sick CHL is NOT for you!

Shopping overall was underwhelming, but we did hit the classic FAO Schwarz which regardless of the long line this time of year was a must-do! We got there 10min before opening and only waited about 10min after opening to get in.

As for dining we did some quick spots around the city including Springbone Kitchen - perfect for a fast casual but healthy meal - we did pick up and took it to our room! Ralph’s Coffee in UES was also on my must-do list and honestly it didn’t disappoint! I’ve been to the Paris and NYC locations now and both times it’s been delicious and the perfect drinking temperature, even if you do have to wait a bit. For dinner we got a same day reservation for BG at Bergdorf’s - the food and service were great and reasonably priced imo!

I’m so happy we got to experience NYC at Christmas as it’s been on my bucket list my entire life! I love a trip filled with firsts, since they’re what make lasting memories!✨

✨48hrs in NYC✨ Somehow at 27 I had still never ✨48hrs in NYC✨
Somehow at 27 I had still never been to NYC until now🌃 I’ve always dreamed of going to NYC as a little girl, especially at Christmas! Today dreams came true with a visit to Radio City Music Hall to see @therockettes and it did not disappoint👏🏼 I’ll be sharing more tidbits from my trip over the next few days🚕

*also brownie points to whoever can tell me where this iconic townhome is from😉*

30 hours at the most festive place on earth🏰🎄

We booked this trip after my miscarriage so we could get out of town, even just for a night, and embrace ourselves in holiday magic✨ While nothing will take away the pain and heartache, distractions help the days pass faster🤍

Next week we’re off to NYC for a few days full of firsts!🚕 Defintiely nervous but excited for this bucket list trip✅
