In this article I am going to cover some activities in the Palm Beach area that you can do if you have some free time over the weekend! If you haven’t already, be sure to check out my blog posts on free activities, transportation, where to eat, and where to shop for Lilly!
Let’s get into some of the paid activities in the area!
On The Island
While The Colony offers free bikes for guests, other hotels do offer them for an extra charge. The Chesterfield offers bikes through an outside company for $24/day. Bikes at The Brazilian Court are $15/hr, $26/half day, and $39/full day – they offer Lilly Pulitzer bikes! There is also a little bike shop near Publix that offers rentals called Palm Beach Bicycle Trail Shop. They also offer scooters and electric bikes.
Boating & Fishing
The Colony offers services to set up half day and full day boating/fishing charters. I am sure any hotel would also have a great recommendations on boating companies in the area.
The Colony offers spa and salon services that come right to your room! Speak to the front desk for more details. There is a salon and spa at The Brazilian Court as well, open from 9am-6pm and closed on Sundays (some hours may be seasonsal, so call for details). If you’re looking for an unforgettable spa experience, head over to The Spa at The Breakers, open 10am-6pm every day. I also recommend the Woody Michleb Salon located on Worth Avenue, I got my nails done here before my wedding and they were great to work with!
The Flagler Museum is a great place to visit if you’re interested in history, architecture, or design. Tickets are $18 per adult and they offer guided tours throughout the day; see the time guide HERE. This is a great way to spend a few hours learning about local history and viewing the priceless pieces of art the museum has to offer.
Off The Island
For $14 you can get a roundtrip ticket on the water taxi to Peanut Island. Peanut Island is a great place to swim in the ocean, snorkel (equipment available for rent), and just relax. Learn more about the water taxi and hours here.
Palm Beach Zoo
Visit the Palm Beach Zoo, open daily from 9am – 5pm. Entry is $24.95 per adult (or less for children and seniors). I’ve personally never been to this zoo, but I have heard great things! Be sure to check out their website before your visit, they’re always holding special events!
While Jupiter is a little drive away from Palm Beach, it is a great area and the lighthouse is an iconic landmark. Admission to the Jupiter Lighthouse and museum costs $12 per person (less for kids, seniors, & U.S. veterans) and is open Tuesday-Sunday. They also offer different events and tours for both kids and adults depending on the season – so check out their website for more info on that!
I wouldn’t normally put something like this in, but if you visit the Rosemary Sqaure entertainment area in West Palm Beach, there is a great movie theatre! This is a great activity for the evening if there is a new movie out you’re wanting to see – and a great rainy day activity.
Palm Beach Improv
Also located in Rosemary Square is Palm Beach Improv, a comedy club! Ticket prices vary and there are new performers every few nights. Note that there is a 2 drink minimum and all shows are 21+ only – with the exceptions of certain shows on Thursdays and Fridays that are 18+.
Well y’all, that’s all I have for today! I hope you enjoy some of my recommendations for paid activities in the area. While I know most of us have a busy weekend, I wanted to include some ideas for those of you who may not be attending all of the events or that might be staying before or after the retreat. I cannot wait to see y’all in just a few short weeks! Don’t forget to download/print the PDFs on my guides so far to take with you. Next week I will be making one large PDF for y’all to print and enjoy!
Click the Download PDF down below for a printable “cliff notes” version that you can put in a folder or binder and bring with you to The Pink Retreat.
Thanks for reading!
