Early Fall OOTD Featuring JORD

August 30, 2019 · In: Fall & Winter, Fashion

GIVEAWAY CLOSED

Hi y’all! I am so excited for today’s post because it’s all about Fall fashion, I’m featuring Jord Watches, AND y’all have a chance to win a watch for yourself. You’ll definitely want to read until the end so you can find out how to enter.

I know it’s not technically Fall yet, and Orlando has let me know that with the 90 degree heat… But I started classes on Monday and for me school starting means fall is here! It has been tough making the transition to Florida from living in Western PA for the first 19 years of my life. While September is REALLY hot in both Florida and PA, Florida doesn’t typically cool down until December at the earliest. Meanwhile in PA as a kid I would trick or treat in my snowsuit…

Needless to say, it’s hard to embrace the cute fall fashion here in Florida, so I just have to make it work. I’ve recently found some great fall pieces that are appropriate for the current weather here in Central Florida. If you don’t already, be sure to follow me on Instagram so you can see all of my hauls when I go shopping! Let’s get into the look.

To start off, my dress is from Marshalls, so unfortunately I wasn’t able to track it down for y’all! But I love the color, and it gives me all the Fall vibes; such a fun pumpkin-brown. I also love the cut because it’s so flattering and it gives me 1940s vibes with the neckline. Plus, the length and material is perfect for this hot Florida weather. I’m sure you can find something at your local Marshalls that is similar. I believe I only paid $14.99 for it, maybe less. My shoes are designer dupes, surprisingly enough from Walmart. You may have seen them in THIS previous blog post. You can find the sandals for only $8 HERE.

This adorable handbag is this month’s MonoBox item from ShopILoveJewelry. Y’all have probably seen me use this and unbox it on my Instagram. I’m absolutely in love with it! It’s under $22, is personalized, comes with a detachable crossbody strap, and it surprisingly holds a ton! I would highly recommend getting one for yourself before they take it away on September 1st. I tied this fun bandana on it from Kingdom Rose Co., an Etsy shop I mentioned in THIS previous post. This is so fun for Fall and can be used in so many fun ways. It’s hand stamped and most importantly, if you buy you are supporting small business.

Finally, I wanted to share my arm candy! This gorgeous rose gold crystal bracelet is from The Sparkled Shell, another great small business who y’all should support if you can. She has every color of the rainbow in earrings, bracelets, and so much more! She even has Disney and Lilly inspired pieces.  And last (but certainly not least), I have this great statement wooden watch from JORD Watches. I am wearing the Cassia watch in ebony & sable. This timeless piece will easily transition from Fall to Winter and comes in a variety of colors. If this look isn’t your thing, they have a wide selection of other watches to fit your taste and needs for both men and women! I also love that they offer engraving so you can even create a customized special gift for a loved one. I also was so pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to put on and take off my watch alone. The closure has two small buttons you press simultaneously to easily remove the watch, and when putting it on it easily locks into place.

I hope y’all enjoyed this post! Feel free to share it with your friends so they can enter to win as well. Good luck!

Thanks for reading!

xoxo
Jayme

While we didn’t have the best beach weather last While we didn’t have the best beach weather last weekend, we still managed to soak up some sun☀️🌊

The best part of any beach trip is showering after a long day in the water and throwing on your favorite sun dress with your fresh tan🤍 I am obsessed with this new one I snagged for only $35 - plus the perfect purse to match🐚

Genuinely if I have $1 for every time I’ve been told I “don’t belong in Western PA” - I’d have enough money to move to the southern city of my choosing😂 But seriously - I’ve gotten these comments since I was in middle school!

I’ve heard it said PA is 10 years behind on fashion👀 I can confirm people don’t understand me or my Lorna Murray hat I bought back in 2022👒

Heading home after a week+ stay in the Sunshine St Heading home after a week+ stay in the Sunshine State☀️

Getting vulnerable for a second: I love creating content and blogging but photographing myself lately, especially on this trip, has been rough for my self-esteem. While curating this post I was second guessing even posting these pictures because I didn’t like the way my body looked. Over the past month I’ve been on a regimen of medications that have thrown my body through a loop have had me not feeling myself. Even a “healthy” diet and daily exercise can’t reverse the side effects I’m experiencing and it’s been hard for me to reconcile that. In this process I’ve been reminding myself I don’t look at others around me or people I follow online and analyze their bodies or looks.

So this is your reminder that we’re overthinking ourselves more than others are thinking about us. And it’s easier said than done, but give yourself grace through all seasons of life🤍
