Men’s Holiday Gift Ideas – Holiday Gift Guide 2019

October 21, 2019 · In: Gift Guides

Hey y’all! Today I am posting my highly requested men’s gift guide! Whenever I asked who y’all were struggling to shop for, this was the #1 answer. Whether it’s your boyfriend, husband, brother, or father, I’m here to help you out. Unfortunately I cannot provide the answer to one of the world’s biggest mysteries, “Why are men so hard to shop for?” What do you get the man who has everything? What do you get the man who claims he doesn’t want anything? Hopefully I can spark some inspiration for you all today! If you want some more insight, be sure to read my gift guides from 2018!

While I know a variety of people would enjoy these gifts – both men and women – this is based off of the men in my life and what I might get them this holiday season. I can’t give names though since my dad and boyfriend read my blog regularly lol. But let’s get into it!

$25 & Under

Wyze Cams

A great gift for a variety of people on your list, but the men in my life are especially big fans! My sister got all of the guys one for Christmas a few years back and they’ve been hooked ever since. Wyze Cams give you the ability to access live and recorded video footage of your home from anywhere via their app. Did I mention these cameras are only $20 each?! PLUS the app is absolutely free! They even have night vision and two-way audio. They also have a variety of other accessories and products on their website such as Wyze Bulbs and Wyze Sense motion sensors. If you are an Amazon shopper you can also purchase their products there; it costs a bit more but when shopping on their website, shipping is not free. Amazon links for Wyze Cam and Wyze Bulbs.

Customized Yeti Cups

Such a special gift and you can get them as low as $20! These are really a great gift for anyone in the family, and they even have dog bowls for your furry friends. There are a variety of colors, styles, and customization options to choose from. You can do a name or monogram, a custom logo (Grant got his Boy Scout Troop’s logo on a cup for his dad last year), or pick from one of their preloaded images (NASCAR, Collegiate, Fraternities, hunting, fishing, and so much more). There’s literally something for everyone! Don’t forget about the little ones either – Yeti now offers kid’s ramblers! If you prefer to buy a Yeti item plain, you can also find them on Amazon.

House 99 Shaving Cream

Last year I got Grant a men’s skincare gift set from Ulta, similar to this one. He absolutely fell in love with this shaving cream! Grant has super sensitive skin and this worked beautifully on him and didn’t break him out. They also have a few House 99 gift sets available at Ulta, starting at $25.

$50 & Under

The Custom Maritime Flag Hat from Regatta Reserve

This is perfect for the boat/nautical lover! Even I would wear one of these. It’s super unique because you put in the person’s initials and they custom embroider a hat with the initials, but in maritime signal flags. So much fun and only $35.

Mophie Wireless Phone Charger

I recently got one of these from my parents and I LOVE IT! So many people would find this incredibly useful. A lot of brands sell these, but I personally have this Mophie one which is currently on sale for $39.99. If you have a college or high school student, they would really appreciate this!  Just make sure they have a compatible smart phone before purchasing. And to answer your question, yes, it does work even with a phone case on (in my experience anyways). Here is an option from Amazon under $15.

Vineyard Vines Long Sleeves

Grant really can’t get enough of these! I’ve been buying him these for years and he wears the heck out of them. They’re super soft, wear beautifully, and fit in a way thats casual but not too baggy. They have a wide variety of colors and designs, I just linked the classic vintage whale design. And they even fit well for slimmer, lankier guys over 6′, like Grant. Also, I should mention they offer Big & Tall sizes!

$75+

U.S. Microbrewed Beer Club

This is such great gift for your favorite beer lover. This is a subscription, which is always a gift that keeps on giving! You can do as little as 2 months’ worth and time them out however you’d like; monthly, quarterly, etc. In each delivery the recipient will get twelve 12oz bottles that will feature 4 different beers (3 of each) from 2 different breweries in the U.S. It starts at only $29.99 a month, not including shipping.

Dual Dash Camera Set

For some reason the guys in my life love unnecessary technology lol. This dual dash camera set from Amazon is under $100 and includes both dashboard and rear-end cameras. If you’re looking for something on a smaller budget, there is this one under $50!

New York Times Custom Birthday Book

This item is just awesome! You enter the recipient’s name and birthday and a custom book is made just for them. It includes the front page of each New York Times paper on their birthday every year since they’ve been born. So if someone is older there will be more pages, and since there is a 20 page minimum recipients must have been born in 1999 or earlier. The front cover is even personalized with their name and birth date. A great gift for the person who has “everything.”

Well there you have it y’all! That is my men’s gift guide for 2019. I hope this inspired y’all for someone in your life. If you want more inspiration, be sure to check out my men’s gift guides from last year. Let me know in the comments which was your favorite!

Thanks for reading!

While this Christmas photo looks different than pl While this Christmas photo looks different than planned this year, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas surrounded by peace and love🫶🏼

My prayer is that next year brings the blessings we hoped and prayed for this year, whether those things are big or small.

I’m so glad we decided to take a pit stop at @mo I’m so glad we decided to take a pit stop at @morganjuliadesigns brand new Jersey City location on our way home from NYC🫶🏼 This only added about 20min to our trip which was well worth it!🪡 Such a beautiful shop with so many great canvases👏🏼

Some tidbits from our trip as a NYC first-timer🚕

We stayed at @omniberkshirenyc - overall we enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect (right in between 5th Ave & Madison Ave) and was a short walk to Rockefeller and Central Park. Only complaint is that the rooms were very hot (75*+). They also had valet parking that we utilized. We drove into the city and while time consuming it wasn’t as stressful/difficult as we had imagined. I’d certainly drive in again.

Our highlights were @therockettes and walking through Central Park. We walked everywhere with the exception of a boat ride we did. We booked a car through RideLux for that which I do not recommend, about equal service to Uber for 2x the price.

The boat ride with Classic Harbor Line felt like it wasn’t worth the $100/pp price tag. Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close was neat, but that was about it. Also, if you get sea sick CHL is NOT for you!

Shopping overall was underwhelming, but we did hit the classic FAO Schwarz which regardless of the long line this time of year was a must-do! We got there 10min before opening and only waited about 10min after opening to get in.

As for dining we did some quick spots around the city including Springbone Kitchen - perfect for a fast casual but healthy meal - we did pick up and took it to our room! Ralph’s Coffee in UES was also on my must-do list and honestly it didn’t disappoint! I’ve been to the Paris and NYC locations now and both times it’s been delicious and the perfect drinking temperature, even if you do have to wait a bit. For dinner we got a same day reservation for BG at Bergdorf’s - the food and service were great and reasonably priced imo!

I’m so happy we got to experience NYC at Christmas as it’s been on my bucket list my entire life! I love a trip filled with firsts, since they’re what make lasting memories!✨

✨48hrs in NYC✨ Somehow at 27 I had still never ✨48hrs in NYC✨
Somehow at 27 I had still never been to NYC until now🌃 I’ve always dreamed of going to NYC as a little girl, especially at Christmas! Today dreams came true with a visit to Radio City Music Hall to see @therockettes and it did not disappoint👏🏼 I’ll be sharing more tidbits from my trip over the next few days🚕

*also brownie points to whoever can tell me where this iconic townhome is from😉*

30 hours at the most festive place on earth🏰🎄

We booked this trip after my miscarriage so we could get out of town, even just for a night, and embrace ourselves in holiday magic✨ While nothing will take away the pain and heartache, distractions help the days pass faster🤍

Next week we’re off to NYC for a few days full of firsts!🚕 Defintiely nervous but excited for this bucket list trip✅
