Bibbidi Boxes Review

November 4, 2020 · In: Disney World, Lifestyle

Today I have another review for you all! ICYMI, I reviewed Pretty Little Monogram’s Mystery Mailer last month, but I also got many requests to review Bibbidi Box. If you have not heard of it, Bibbidi Box is a small business that specializes in fandom mystery boxes. They have various sizes of boxes at many price points, as well as different themes such as Disney, Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Marvel.

Additionally, they have a boutique where you can purchase items as well as special themed boxes that are released in limited supply. Needless to say, there is something for everyone!

I decided to purchase their Disney-themed Bibbidi Box, specifically the Ultimate Magic Box which is the biggest box they offer and retails for $119. Here is the description of this box, straight from their site:

“The ultimate Disney monthly subscription box! Includes a range of Disney items, from Loungefly to Disney Parks exclusive items. ºoº At least 1 designer item will be included in each box (i.e. Loungefly, Danielle Nicole, Alex & Ani, etc.)! ºoº 3-5 items (number of items based on value) ºoº Bring the magic of Disney straight to your door each month! ºoº Fully customized just for you! ºoº No obligations, cancel any time.”

When you sign up for their service, you take a fun quiz that asks you about yourself as well as your interests – and there are even text boxes where you can elaborate on your favorite Disney characters and such. I let the team know that I loved Sorcerer Mickey, I loved the princesses (specifically Tiana), and I loved collecting Loungefly pieces and Danielle Nicole. I was nervous about what may come in the package, but I ended up being pleasantly surprised!

A few weeks before your box ships, they will email you giving you the option to select an item or items for your box via a wishlist. I was overwhelmed with the options they had to choose from! I opted to let them curate my box for me; however, the wishlist is a great way to guarantee you’ll get something you love.

Keep in mind, the point of Bibbidi Boxes is not to get a bang for your buck necessarily. However, you are promised to at least get what you paid for in the value of the box, and sometimes you get more! It is all about the surprise you get when opening it.

Here is what I got in my Bibbidi Box!

  • Sorcerer Mickey Jim Shore Figure – $26 Value
  • Bibbidi x Lillian & Co. “Dig A Little Deeper” Bracelet – $32 Value
  • Disney Parks Purple Potion Sequin Minnie Loungefly Wallet – $50 Value
  • Disney Showcase Collection Sorcerer Hat & Broom Salt & Pepper Shakers – $20 Value

Overall, the value of my box was $128, and before tax and shipping, the cost of the Ultimate Magic Box was $119.

Honestly, I am super pleased with my box! I felt like they really listened to my comments and likes/dislikes. I would say out of the entire box, the only thing I would not have purchased for myself is the wallet. However, I do really like it – it is a great size and I will definitely use it at some point!

I would also like to note, they have great customer service as well. I was under the impression that I was purchasing a one-time box, but my box auto-renewed at the end of October, therefore I was charged for a box for November. I contacted them and within 2 days they refunded me my full amount, no questions asked. For the future, if you do want to do a one-time box I believe you can select that the box is a gift. Additionally, you can change your preferences at any time by signing into your account.

If you’d like to purchase your own Bibbidi Box for yourself or someone else, you can visit their website here. Also, be sure to purchase by the 15th of the month for your box to ship in that cycle! There is so much to choose from! I think this would make a great holiday gift as well.

Cheers!

xoxo

The best part of any beach trip is showering after a long day in the water and throwing on your favorite sun dress with your fresh tan🤍 I am obsessed with this new one I snagged for only $35 - plus the perfect purse to match🐚

Genuinely if I have $1 for every time I’ve been told I “don’t belong in Western PA” - I’d have enough money to move to the southern city of my choosing😂 But seriously - I’ve gotten these comments since I was in middle school!

I’ve heard it said PA is 10 years behind on fashion👀 I can confirm people don’t understand me or my Lorna Murray hat I bought back in 2022👒

Heading home after a week+ stay in the Sunshine St Heading home after a week+ stay in the Sunshine State☀️

Getting vulnerable for a second: I love creating content and blogging but photographing myself lately, especially on this trip, has been rough for my self-esteem. While curating this post I was second guessing even posting these pictures because I didn’t like the way my body looked. Over the past month I’ve been on a regimen of medications that have thrown my body through a loop have had me not feeling myself. Even a “healthy” diet and daily exercise can’t reverse the side effects I’m experiencing and it’s been hard for me to reconcile that. In this process I’ve been reminding myself I don’t look at others around me or people I follow online and analyze their bodies or looks.

So this is your reminder that we’re overthinking ourselves more than others are thinking about us. And it’s easier said than done, but give yourself grace through all seasons of life🤍
