Welcome to another holiday gift guide! Today’s gift guide will be focused on small businesses. While my previous gift guides have featured products from small businesses, with this post I am sharing a variety of small businesses for you all to shop at this holiday season – which I am so excited about!
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know how important small businesses are to me, and supporting them during the holiday season (especially in today’s world) is so important. This can be a great time to discover new businesses that you can support not only during the holidays, but all year round.
Check out the businesses below and see what they have to offer!
Bits & Bows is a small business based out of Pittsburgh and they sell the most darling baseball hats. These hats have detachable bows on the back, allowing you to completely customize the piece. They offer solid-colored hats as well as a selection of hats with fun embroidered designs – I got the anchor hat for my upcoming cruise. This would be such a fun gift idea, and a hat with a few bows would even make a great stocking stuffer!
If you’ve been here a while, you’ve heard me mention Caloosa WaterWear! In fact, the owner Rebecca was my first guest on my podcast – be sure to listen in if you haven’t already. Caloosa offers tons of fun performance gear for those who love living life on the water. They also offer some home items like dish towels and mugs that make perfect gifts! And be sure to check out their holiday collection for fun gift items like ornaments and more.
ChappyWrap is the perfect holiday gift that can be appreciated year-round! These are the SOFTEST yet heavy-duty blankets out there. They’ve even received an award from Good Housekeeping! These are perfect for families, people who love boating, the soccer mom, grandparents, and everyone in between.
I had to plug the store I work at, The Nue Look At Home! While we mainly do interior decor and home products, we are also getting tons of fun gifts in for the holiday season. But who also doesn’t love new pieces for their home? Check out great coffee table books, Italian cotton loungewear, fun cocktail accessories, and more on their website!
For all of my needlepoint lovers, Newport Needlepoint has the cutest accessories featuring intricate needlepoint work. Cuff bracelets, headbands, hats, and more – there are designs for everyone! Such a unique and hard-to-find gift. Some of my personal favorites are the ginger jar pieces and the blue check headband. Newport Needlepoint was kind enough go give me a discount code for you all to use as well – use code NORTHERNPREP20 for 20% off everything!
Of course, I had to give a plug for my sister’s store, Keffalas Designs! She offers a ton of great items for gifts. From clothing from brands like Simply Southern, to gift items from Lilly Pulitzer, and even items made in the USA and veteran-owned businesses! She even offers customized items like engraved stainless steel tumblers and lasered wooden products. Needless to say, there is something for everyone.
This beautiful, handblown glassware has made its way into West Elm and Tuckernuck, plus has been featured on Hoda & Jenna, in The Oprah Magazine, and more. But you can see all of their offerings on their website, including champagne glasses, cake stands, and more. There are countless color options, making it the perfect gift for every home.
I hope you all enjoyed this round up of small businesses to check out this holiday season. There are so many small businesses out there, so do some research of your own! Check out Etsy, Instagram, and local vendor shows in your area to discover new businesses – or shop small businesses not in your area online.
