Happy Thanksgiving week everyone! I know it’s a big and busy week for everyone – but especially for many small business owners across the country. This week thousands of small business owners are not only getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving with their families, but also getting ready for Small Business Saturday!
Being a business owner myself, and coming from a multi-generational family of small business owners, I believe it is important to shop small all year around – not just during the holidays. But I wanted to round up this post to making “shopping small” easy for you all this holiday season! Challenge yourself to get all, or even a portion, of your holiday shopping done through small businesses online and in-person.
This weekend, I challenge you to shop small with at least one business in-person! You won’t regret it! Check out these small businesses you can shop with online this holiday season and all year long.
Caloosa Water Wear is the perfect place to shop for any of my Lilly lovers, beach lovers, etc. I have so many of the Ultra Comfort shirts that are moisture wicking and perfect for working out, going to the beach, garden, boating, etc. Many of their products protect your skin from the sun, including Ultra Comfort shirts that will be BOGO on Cyber Monday! But I recently got one of their fanny packs (specifically the pink one) and I am obsessed! It’s so cute and I get so many compliments on it.
Breck & Grier offers the cutest straw bags – some that are even hand painted! They offer a variety of sizes and styles – for you or your mini me. If you’re looking to get a painted bag be sure to order by Nov. 28th!
Canvas Style has the cutest fashion jewelry – and at fantastic prices! I have countless pieces from them and wear them all the time – and I always get compliments. Jenna is someone I’ve known via Instagram for a long time – we finally got to meet earlier this year and she is just the sweetest. Jenna is an author as well as an artist. A few years back she reached out to me and gifted me one of her pieces of The Colony – she saw we were getting married there and insisted that I have it! It’s a piece that makes me smile every time I see it. She has different works featuring different travel destinations and more.
If you’re looking for some stunning and classic jewelry pieces, check out Cristina Romig & Co. Shop their wide selection online with pieces at a variety of price points! These are high quality pieces that can be for everyday wear, or for a special occasion.
I’ve had my Crab & Cleek bags for over 4 years now and I love them! I love the fun designs and the quality. They fit everything I need and hold up wonderfully – and trust me, I’m pretty rough and tough with it. They are running 25% off through Cyber Monday with code GRATEFUL.
Palm Beach Sandals are certainly a closet staple of mine during the summer or when I travel south! With countless designs and color combinations to choose from, you’re sure to find the perfect gift. These high quality shoes are extremely comfortable and will hold up for years!
If you’re looking to shop big brands like Lilly Pulitzer this year, why not support a small business while doing it? My friend and fellow PA girly, Brynn, is the owner of The Printed Peach in Savannah, GA! You can shop her boutique online – including 30% off of Lilly right now!
Lycette is my absolute favorite needlepoint shop – they have locations in Palm Beach and Newport. On their site they have some fantastic starter kits – perfect for the person who is wanting to pick up needlepointing for the first time. I also love that they offer adding on coordinating fibers for all of their canvases – making it ready to gift!
Jessica is an incredibly talented watercolor artist and has a wide array of products on her website featuring her art! From customized stationery, art prints, home goods, clothing, and so much more. Plus, she even sells wrapping paper and gift tags to add that special touch to your holiday gifts.
I hope you all enjoyed this round up of just a small handful of my favorite small businesses. Support them (as well as small businesses in your area) this holiday season and all year long! They can’t have a beautiful holiday season for them and their families without your support.
