Spring Fashion Finds from Target – Spring 2024

February 14, 2024 · In: Fashion, Spring & Summer

I am typically the person who would rather invest in high quality pieces for their wardrobe – quality over quantity. However, I do respect the fact that it doesn’t always make sense for everyone’s lifestyle or budget. I love keeping an eye out for affordable pieces that are still my style, as that can be hard to find. Lately Target particularly has been delivering! And I can’t help but think of how fantastic so many pieces would be for spring time.

Enjoy!

Long Sleeve Cinch Waist Maxi Dress – $35

I recently bought this in navy and I am obsessed! It’s super versatile, can be dressed up or down, and would fit so many body types. It does run big, however keep the arms in mind if you plan to roll the sleeves. I got a S but could fit in an XS if it weren’t for the rolled cuffs.

Slide Sandals – $24.99

I am a shoe girl – I particularly love Italian-made shoes. However, there is something to be said about Target’s shoes because I have never once been disappointed in a pair! They always hold up amazing (especially for the price) – plus you can find some super chic options. I will say though, I have always had to size down to an 8 or 8.5 from my typical 9/40.

Linen Set – Top and Bottom Sold Separately – Top, $25, Bottoms, $20

These linen sets are great quality for the price, and I always love something you can wear a variety of ways; separate or together. I got the tan stripes and thought it would be perfect as an outfit or a pool cover up come summer! I got a size M in both which allowed it to be perfectly oversized.

Tweed Slingback Ballet Flats – $30

These flats are so chic and fun! I’ve considered getting them for myself, however I don’t think I’d wear them nearly enough. These would be perfect for anyone going into the office, doing job interviews, etc.

Caning Mini Tote Handbag – $20

This is just the cutest bag for spring and summer – and for only $20! I love that it comes with a crossbody strap – and the brown will go with everything. However, if you are looking for a pop of color it does come in yellow.

Platform Sneakers – $42.99

I purchased two pairs of these last summer – and I am constantly having to stop myself from purchasing more when new colors pop up! They are so comfy, and so cute – plus they come in a ton of colors. They can really be worn with anything; from shorts to dresses. These are definitely a wardrobe staple of mine! A great piece for traveling since they’re versatile and comfortable.

Destination Tote Bag – $30

The perfect tote to take you from the office to the beach this spring and summer! I love that it has long handles to sling over your shoulder. If you’re worried about the light color, it also comes in black.

Oversized Fleece Sweatshirt Set Sold Seperately – Top, $25, Bottoms, $14

This is such a cute set! Perfect for lounging around the house, running errands, or even going out and about. I think this is the perfect outfit for after a long day at the pool or beach.

Woven Mules – $24.99

I am a sucker for a mule, and I am loving these ones! To me, mules are extremely comfortable and versatile. These can be worn with jeans, or a flowy dress. I love the gold buckle detail as well.

Gold Metal Flower Pendant Necklace – $16.99

I don’t wear a ton of jewelry, but I thought this necklace looked so chic and makes a statement without being too bold. This would be the perfect addition to an Easter outfit, or a wedding guest look.

While this Christmas photo looks different than pl While this Christmas photo looks different than planned this year, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas surrounded by peace and love🫶🏼

My prayer is that next year brings the blessings we hoped and prayed for this year, whether those things are big or small.

I’m so glad we decided to take a pit stop at @mo I’m so glad we decided to take a pit stop at @morganjuliadesigns brand new Jersey City location on our way home from NYC🫶🏼 This only added about 20min to our trip which was well worth it!🪡 Such a beautiful shop with so many great canvases👏🏼

Some tidbits from our trip as a NYC first-timer🚕

We stayed at @omniberkshirenyc - overall we enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect (right in between 5th Ave & Madison Ave) and was a short walk to Rockefeller and Central Park. Only complaint is that the rooms were very hot (75*+). They also had valet parking that we utilized. We drove into the city and while time consuming it wasn’t as stressful/difficult as we had imagined. I’d certainly drive in again.

Our highlights were @therockettes and walking through Central Park. We walked everywhere with the exception of a boat ride we did. We booked a car through RideLux for that which I do not recommend, about equal service to Uber for 2x the price.

The boat ride with Classic Harbor Line felt like it wasn’t worth the $100/pp price tag. Seeing the Statue of Liberty up close was neat, but that was about it. Also, if you get sea sick CHL is NOT for you!

Shopping overall was underwhelming, but we did hit the classic FAO Schwarz which regardless of the long line this time of year was a must-do! We got there 10min before opening and only waited about 10min after opening to get in.

As for dining we did some quick spots around the city including Springbone Kitchen - perfect for a fast casual but healthy meal - we did pick up and took it to our room! Ralph’s Coffee in UES was also on my must-do list and honestly it didn’t disappoint! I’ve been to the Paris and NYC locations now and both times it’s been delicious and the perfect drinking temperature, even if you do have to wait a bit. For dinner we got a same day reservation for BG at Bergdorf’s - the food and service were great and reasonably priced imo!

I’m so happy we got to experience NYC at Christmas as it’s been on my bucket list my entire life! I love a trip filled with firsts, since they’re what make lasting memories!✨

✨48hrs in NYC✨ Somehow at 27 I had still never ✨48hrs in NYC✨
Somehow at 27 I had still never been to NYC until now🌃 I’ve always dreamed of going to NYC as a little girl, especially at Christmas! Today dreams came true with a visit to Radio City Music Hall to see @therockettes and it did not disappoint👏🏼 I’ll be sharing more tidbits from my trip over the next few days🚕

*also brownie points to whoever can tell me where this iconic townhome is from😉*

30 hours at the most festive place on earth🏰🎄

We booked this trip after my miscarriage so we could get out of town, even just for a night, and embrace ourselves in holiday magic✨ While nothing will take away the pain and heartache, distractions help the days pass faster🤍

Next week we’re off to NYC for a few days full of firsts!🚕 Defintiely nervous but excited for this bucket list trip✅
