It was a crazy past week y’all! I worked all last weekend, and Monday – Wednesday we had a mini vacation. Needless to say my day are all messed up lol. And not gonna lie, I am feeling super unmotivated since I’ve taken a break this week. But I am hoping I can find some things I want to write about and just go with it!
If y’all read my New Year’s goals post, you know that I wanted to try to read more, and I am happy to report that I read two books last month! This is huge for me because I have the attention span of a goldfish and it’s really hard for me to find a book I am interested in. Today I wanted to share with y’all some spoiler-free, mini reviews of the books I read this month. We are currently reading the book Finding Dorothy and technically started it in January, but I’ll be sure to update you on that once we finish it.
This week was one that I thought would be super chill, and I even believed I would have time to get ahead on some blog posts. I was mistaken lol. The first half of this week was easy breezy, but yesterday was a not so good day to be honest. I honestly was somewhat struggling to think of 5 weekly notables, but I know I’d be more satisfied with my week if I shared some of it with y’all. Thank you for being here to read and be a part of my creative outlet, whether my day has been good or bad.
Valentine’s Day is only a few weeks away, so I wanted to share some gifts ideas with y’all! I made sure to share a variety of pieces at a variety of price points – all perfect for your Valentine or Galentine 😉
This is my very first time doing a collage-style gift guide post, so let me know if you like it or not! Also, be sure to subscribe to my email list to be in-the-know when I post new gift guides, and follow me on Instagram because I have some great Valentine’s Day giveaways coming up!
This week has been a crazy one, y’all! I felt like I had zero time to just take a minute and chill. Honestly, I barely had time to write this blog post in time for the weekend lol. But next week things will finally slow down and I’m excited to be able to take some time to do things that aren’t work or school related.
