Hi y’all! If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen that last week Grant and I were invited back to Wine Bar George! Earlier this year they invited us for brunch and we loved it – you can read our review HERE. But we headed back for dinner this time and I can’t wait to share my thoughts. Thank you to Wine Bar George for hosting us!
Wine Bar George is such a unique experience and is a great spot for a date night or girls’ night out. Their wine list is second to none and you truly won’t get a wine experience like this anywhere else on Disney property (or in Florida). After all, Wine Bar George is run by George Miliotes, one of the few Master Sommeliers in the WORLD. I am not gonna lie, I am not a wine connoisseur by any means, but whether you’re looking for a frosé or a one-of-a-kind wine experience, this place is for you.
Wine Bar George offers dinner seven days a week and lunch Monday-Friday 11am-3pm and brunch Saturday-Sunday 11am-3pm. Their dinner menu can be found HERE and is a bit different from other dinner menus found at Disney Springs. The dinner menu is made up mostly of small plates, as well as three options that are family style dishes which serve 2-4 people; skirt steak, wine braised chicken, and grilled whole sea bass (head included lol). Grant and I opted to get an arrangement of smaller plates for our meal!
We started off with the hummus plate, which we also got on our last visit! It was once again delicious and I love that it’s served with both pita bread and cucumbers.
Next, we decided to try the meatballs. These were cooked to perfection and the sauce was delicious! They laid on top of some cheese that was great as well.
When we saw chicken skewers on the menu, we knew we had to get them! This was an Asian-inspired dish and I loved it. It was definitely spicier than we were expecting, but I love spicy dishes. The Asian slaw it came with was amazing as well! I am NOT a slaw person, but after trying it I ended up eating it all lol.
Finally, we decided to try the cheese board! This was the highlight of our meal for sure. While everything else was delicious, Grant and I love a good cheese board lol. Our personal favorite part of the board was the fig jam. SO yummy! The cheese board is a great dish to get as a dinner course or just to enjoy with a glass of wine. I also love that with this dish and the hummus they offered extra bread/crackers if you needed it.
We loved being back at Wine Bar George! It is definitely not your conventional dinner experience, but delicious nonetheless. I would recommend all of the dishes we tried, as well as the mac and cheese bites (they were delicious when we got them with brunch). And if you’re curious about brunch at Wine Bar George or what else they offer, be sure to check out my other blog post.
Thanks again to Wine Bar George for having us back! We love being able to share our experiences with all of you. Leave a comment down below with any questions you may have and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
Thanks for reading!
