If you’re like me, this quarantine has you thinking of brighter days. I could really go for an ice cold drink pool side right now… Anyone else? I’ve been taking some of this time in quarantine to prep my summer wardrobe, including new swimwear! Because who doesn’t need a new swimmie to lounge in their yard during quarantine? 😉
Today I wanted to share some of my favorite swim pieces & collections I’ve come across over the past few weeks. Many come in both a one piece AND two piece varieties – so be sure to read below the images!
Draper James x Lands End
If you haven’t done so already, do yourself a favor and go check out this collaboration! I NEED to snag myself one of these swimsuits ASAP. Not only do they feature some great Draper James patterns (hello magnolias & gingham!) but Lands End has great quality swimwear. And did I mention these are size inclusive? (They carry up to size 26W) There are SO MANY styles to choose from – including swim dresses, tankinis, one pieces, and even swim shorts. There truly is something for everyone! Lands End is currently running 40% off as well – so they’re really affordable!
J.Crew Factory
I recently ordered a swimsuit from J.Crew Factory and it is SO CUTE! I snagged this one pictured above, but they have so many great options. This one is available in a few different colors as well as in a one piece. I got a M in the top and bottom, and they fit me perfectly! (I am normally size 4 & a 34C for reference) The one downfall to these is that they do not have padding, but the ruffle covers that region perfectly and it doesn’t bother me at all. J.Crew Factory is also currently running a sale and all swim is under $40!
Lilly Pulitzer
I really have a love-hate relationship with Lilly swim. They are so pretty and the materials are great quality! However, the sizing is WAY OFF (like most swimwear is) & the colors do fade quickly in chlorine. That being said, I still love my Lilly swimsuits and this style is my favorite – it even has adjustable straps. Even in a more revealing piece like this (that isn’t my style normally) I feel completely secure and sucked in. Their prints this season are gorgeous and would look so great on the beach & by the pool this summer. They’re also having a gift with purchase right now!
